In this video I share with you how I cut medium 12 X 12 mirrors to make a beautiful diamond shape accent wall in my foyer. And while you at it, check out how I put together the IKEA hide away shoe cabinet. This space looks so rich and elegant now I can't stop starring at it. Okay so whats next for me? I have plenty of ideas this year. Don't forget to subscribe and hit the notification bell. Thanks!

you are a total artist. a true decorator. wow I am so impressed and you do the design and the work. wow.
Thank you so much Joan Jones. Your name sounds famous sounds good to say out loud.
The after is absolutely beautiful
I LOVE THIS. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you
The after is definitely way better. 😍😍
I’d only recommend a foyer table instead.
Ive moved to a nother home a year ago.
looks great id maybe get some crystal knobs and change the black ones to the crystal just so it looks more elegant with the mirror and the piece on the top of the stand. the mirrored wall looks awesome tho
unfortantly the only reason why I designed this wall was to flatter the dresser. It was going up regardless I needed front door shoe space...and I needed it to look cute. And also the mirrors are around the dresser not the full wall. The dresser is screwed to the wall it is a half wall dresser with only two legs. And one week after this video I showed another one with new knobs I went with a glass styled mirror knob. reall cute you should check it out. Thanks for watching and I do understand. its half and half how people feel about the first look verses the second one.
This is great. I'm looking to mirror a wall and this is a great tactic. Thank you!
The before and after look beautiful so it's a win-win either way
thank you so much. Yes I agree.
Beautiful
shante johnson thank you
Very beautiful both are wonderful you've got great decorating ability.
Awl Paula thank you so much.
both are great but the after is my favorite; thanks for sharing!
Thank you i agree
Love both looks, but I vote for the transformation shown in this video. Beautiful!
Thank you.
My favorite is the after! ☺ Fabulous job.
Thank you so much
MARCH 13, 2018 RECAP ON THE TAPE!!!! The tape you must use tons of it, like long slabs. not small pieces. 3 mirrors did loosen and because they did I went ahead and pulled them all down and reapplied them to the wall using an acrylic adhesive caulk that I purchased from lowes. Just and FYI! I used that instead of command strips because I wanted this to be permanent and non removeable.
Tammy B. Jones Great 2 know. I have a question ; Do i have 2 submerge my Husky cutting tool completely in oil or just put some where the cutting part is ?
Tammy B, you opening sounds like a rap song, The foyer is simply gorgeous, it ties in to your living room and the mirror wall is everything. Great makeover and as always Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. and lol my hubby said the same thing.... he said it is very catchy the opening.
After , look brighter......Very nice
I totally agree with you Moncheri. Thanks for watching.
Turned out very pretty love the way it looks.
Esther Trejo thank you so so much
I love the after results. it's more bold & speaks loud volume$
Thank you. i love it too.
Wow! Great idea! Omgoodness ‼️ Great job‼️
thank you. :-)
That looks great! U did an excellent job😊
Thanks Shellee
Both just as lovely, but dimintee mirrors make your hall look lighter and bigger and a more glam, simple delicious x
Thank you so much.
I like the before look it was nice and you see more of the furniture and the room but the second look was nice too just a lil plain.
Thank you for watching..i appreciate your comment too.
You are w genius!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
You are eay to kind
You did that Queen...beautiful
Hi Leslie. Thank you so so much.
Very nice...wowwwwww
Thank you so much
Beautiful, I like the after
I agree Cindy...thanks so much.
Awesome as ever! Thanks Tammy💕tfs
thank you . and thanks for watching.
Beautiful!
I LOVE the after!! Your home is gorgeous!
Thank you. I love it too.
Thank you so much.
beautiful , awesome job
thank you Cynthia
I like the second version because it is simpler and gives a great backdrop for the dresser and the plant arrangements - It is also classier looking - Great job - The only thing I could suggest would be staring in the middle - Measure and find the middle of the wall and find the middle of the triangle mirror and apply it first - This way it will be even when you reach the corner - It would be more tedious and you would have to drop a plumb line to make sure the sides are perfectly straight - But, it is not necessary and just another way of doing it
Thanks for tip...
Very very cool
Thank you.
Girl you got me looking at my entryway wall! Tammy, hats off, thumbs up, a shout...Sis everything I can think of..YOU SLAMMED THIS ONE! Tammy just bad y'all...mic drop! BTW the first one was gorgeous, but the second I shut my mouth! The after one honey🙌🙌🙌!
whoot whoot... thanks for this lovely comment, i had to pin it.
Girl the world needs to know how talented you are!
Tammy B. Jones I love mirrors and I did my old apartment years ago ,but used liquid nails.Well when it was time to move it wasn't fun getting those mirrors off.I would love to do mirrors again.Do you have a suggestion on what I can use to for the mirrors to stay on ,but will come off more easily without doing too much damage to the wall when time to move.Because I am renting.
Aquarius Lyfe maybe try e6000 glue

Tammy You are so cute ..I subscribed...and mirror job is great fun...very useful in plenty of places.
thank you Joane. Yes the cabinet is so useful serves lots of purpose. Thank you for subscribing.
💞 Qué Perfecto y Hermoso💞
💖💖💖 thank you
Wow excelent job. Before and after lovely!. Did you DIY the silver ones on the sides? the ones with patterns on canvas? not sure , they are stuning...tell us abt it plse plse!💖 Thank you!!!!!
No that one came from Ross. Can you believe it was 69.00 i love it. Thank you and thanks so much for watchung and commenting.
Tammy B. Jones Thank you.💝
I'm surprised this tape worked so well. It didn't with my gallery wall 😕 After about av wk I had to nail everything.
Beautiful job! New supporter here. Have a great week ahead!
Hey there...thanks for the sub...I totally apprecuate it.
Tammy B. Jones you got it sis!
Gorgeous foyer. What is the name of the paint color in that area?
Either way but if I must pick the after
It's pretty, but if u could switch out the knobs on the dresser I think it would look better for some reason it looks cheap otherwise I love the second foyer with Diamond mirrors.
Hi already done and theres a video on it. See shoppibg haul video.
I'm in LOVVVE WITH THIS LOOK. Where did you get the silver decor' pieces from, please?? #NEWSUBBIE 👋👋👋
They came from Home Goods. Thank you and thanks for watching.
Thank you love!! I think I might try this look in my entryway. I just love your style. Blessings to you
Nice so tape is called mirror tape?
its called mirror mounting tape. very sticky stuff double sided.
before was cute but after is better
Thank you so much
I really like the “after” mirrors and the “before” table. I find the new dresser a bit high. It takes away from the mirrors. Beautiful job though.
Thank you. I no longer live there finally sold.
Both are really nice, but I like the before. The dresser seems to be too high takes away from the look of the mirrors.
Thank you.... Yeah the dresder is pretty tall but it has a purpose...and the mirror design came about because of the dresser height...otherwise i would have put back the old mirrors.
Wow... just wow! Amazing makeover.
Home depot/ Lowe's will cut the mirrors for free fyi for those who would screw this up (like me🙈)
M 205 wait they will?????
@@damien1781 yes, but you have to purchase the mirrors from them. (And they are pretty pricey) i would practice with a few extra mirrors from dollar tree vs. home depot/lowes. :)
I love it but I think you have so much tall things going on. I would put less decor there so the mirror can nicely reflect the other side of the room giving an illusion of a larger home
This wall no longer exist. Thank you so much for commenting and watching.
Wow! This looks so amazing! You did such a fantastic job! 🤗💕
Thank you Tresha
OMG 😲 shut the front door....you make these diys seem so effortless and easy 😅
I love love love the after 💜 this turned out real nice
Thank you... girl.... you had me shopping at 5 AM smh.
Tammy B. Jones yw & sorry 😂😂😜
HeartmamaVI
Right. I would have amputated my hand 😐
Chosen byGod 😂😂😂😂for real right ☠️
On the space on the area with no mirror , you could use silver mirror spray paint or the diamond wrap to cover the exposed area...otherwise the wall looks gorgeous....Thank you for sharing.....😳😳😳😳
I love both, really can’t decide because they both made a statement. Thank you for the inspiration, I bought a small fixer upper and after everything major breaking down and having to fix I am just now starting to try to get by downstairs done. I’m on a very tight budget but this is something that I can do that won’t break the bank. Thanks again and God Bless!
Yes the mirrors cost 60.00 and 6 packs of tape was 18.00 It definitely depends on your space.. My home is a fixer upper too, and if you go back I had major repairs too. It is always something. I wish I could do something about the sqeaky floor upstairs and on my stairs. Check out some of my updates and maybe it can help you. from painting kitchen cabinets to fixing guest and master bath up, and even adding crown molding. Thanks for watching Holly if you ever have questions or need advice just email or message me.
They are both amazing looks, but the details of the new look is what have me favoring it. Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you Orchid. Glad to hear that coming from such a talented person.
Nice idea & more practical but less is more! The vases need to be removed. The ornaments on top of shoe cupboard are visually too top heavy. A beautiful large low dish would be better & act as a catch all for post, keys etc. A hurricane candle holder on the side would reflect light off the mirrors too. As regards the mirrors measuring them before putting them up would have allowed you to centralised them leaving equal space on either side that could be left as is or fill with mirrors mosaic tiles.
Thanks for commenting and feed back there is already a second video out of the new look. I am well aware of centering and measurements...however i was so anxious to attempt the project. And also I couldn't bare to part ways with my vases. Maybe if you attempt it. You would make it 100% perfect with no errors and extra spacing. Good luck starting your future mirror masterpiece in your home.
Anne Holden do u make videos. If so link, thanks sounds like u know what you’re talkin bout
Beautiful wall mirror design Tammy! The diagonals gives it a unique appearance! It looks really classy! 😎💕
thank you so much.
I think I like the before better but both are awesome. After reminds me of m previous apartment, I had a huge mirror covering a wall too (except it was one piece) right in front of the windows, I really miss that in my new apartment (the way my new apartment is, I can have a mirror in front of the windows, that' a real shame).
Did you buy or made the mosaic mirror we see on the left? Pretty too!
I purchased it. The reasin why i changed the before. Is because it looked amature the table and the door mirrors aligned sude by side started to look like it didnt blen just dark and gloomy mirrors are to reflect light and this new look does just that. Thanks for watching. I can see how you miss your old place.
Girl, you got skills! It turned out great! Tfs!
thank you Barbara, I appreciate you. I also wanted to know if you painted your fireplace?
If worried buy extra thin fishing rod wire to use to slip behind to take off If you make a mistake
Good idea. I have a new house now.
Just found your channel.
You're creative and seem like a sweet, genuine person and watching this, I felt like I was hanging out with throughout the video 🤣 which is why I subscribed 💕
Awe. That melt my ❤. So glad you are here with us. Welco.e welcome.
@@TammyBJones it's the truth girl 🙌🏻 and thanks 😊 💕💕
They are both beautiful, but I think the furniture before looked better because if left so much space and each of the other pieces stood out more. I don't like leaving anything the same for too long, so I'm with you, use the new for a awhile then you can always switch it back later, maybe changing a few little things with the previous picture. Another thing, I think the other furniture gives you more opportunity to decorate for Christmas to set things on.
I really need the cabinet... More thanthe table we all tossed our shoes there it became such an eye sore.
I like the second option but it is a bit crowded! Remove the tall vases and leve only one tho g otherwise the mirror effects gets lost! And that brings in light and lakes space looks bigger but not with so much! It overall it’s great! Great job!!!!!
Thanks for watching. Please see other video after showing how the area looks today.
Can you tell me the paint color on your walls. I love it. Also, where did you get that great piece of art to the left that looks like a mosaic?
+Deborah Falzone hi the paint color is kacky gray came from home depot. The art piece was a ross find. It was only 69.00 but i purchased it during last summer. Piere one have lots of art lime this and so does Tuesday morning.
This is the designed wall I want. Very nice and so easy I might just do that for my dining room instead of me paying thousands of dollars for a professional mirrored wall that has the same beauty effect. Good job!! ☺
Thank you sn amrn to that. Yes you can definitrly do this. I just may do my dinning room.
I like the after but should've kept the table from the before... Awesome tho 3👍👍👍⬆️
The table was thin and wobbly it was a 19.00 table from ross
Hello beautiful luv your Entryway mirrors or gorgeous. I like after make Entryway look Bigger TFS have bless one Amen 🙏❤👍
Hi Ms. Pat. That was my old house. It was so small And I was always searching for a way to make it have a big impact. Thanks for watching.
@@TammyBJones Hello sweetie you are so welcome. I posted my Makeover Dinning room. Check. Are you still doing your videos?🙏❤
I like both looks. but, the before is much better due to the dresser covering the mirror it's too tall. otherwise awesome job. my basement has a mirrored wall also of course I didn't do it lol... tyfs 😍
Thanks for sharing...i love how tallbthe dresser is. However i did change the decor on it
U did grt job! I have glass cutter that hold oil inside them and the tapping balls are the tips to split the glass. Not sure if u remember I showed them in a haul.
oh yes I am aware of the tapping ball. It was also good to rest my thumb on to apply just the right amount of pressure. I think I may have missed that video so please text me the link. I may prefer your cutter over mine. It worked but it wasn't the best.
Looks beautiful my dear...the before was nice but I like the after look better 💙💚
Thank you Petals. I was thinking about you when I had all that left over broken mirror, I said Petals would have a field day with this extra mirror. I saved it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very creative. I love them both. But I like the first set up first. It was less stuff in way for you to see yourself.
Yes the dresser takes away from that gorgeous mirror. I would def do a shorter piece. Longer length wise instead of height. Not to thick in width. Add a lamp a small plant a couple books stacked. This looked like a bedroom corner
Hey thanks for the advice... The dresser is only 8 inches thick 2.5 feet wide and 4.3 feet tall. My style is elegant glam with a huge mix of tranditional and contemporary. The style you are suggesting might work for others but it will be a down play to that space. Plus there are no plugs there its behind two doors the front door swings open as well as the coat closet. I understand the basic yet average style you are going for but it just would be a clash in my space. Thanks for watching. I have other vudeos showing how i upgraded the dresser and changed the top dexor. I recommend seeing those videos.
Lol ok Sis
Tammy heyyyyyyy my love how have you been 💕miss you I'm sooooo happy you showed how to cut the mirror bc I couldn't do it to save my life I'm glad you've done it I can follow I didn't wanna waste my ikea mirrors...... Very nice I love it 💜💜💜💜💜💜
I am great how are you. Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses, lol. my excuse for taking a break. Anyway. I am so glad I helped you. practice on dollar tree mirror first. grab a couple lol. It took me 6 tries before I mastered it. tfw, and good luck with your project, would love to see it.
THE MIRRORS DID NOT COME FROM HOME DEPOT THEY CAME FROM LOWES! SORRY. THERE IS A LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION BOX.
hello good afternoon. you can tell me how the cutter is called ... thank you. I like everything you do. I'm your fan.
Hi. I believe I listed the link to the glass cutter in the description box below the vudeo. If you cannot find it please let me know. And thank you so much for being a fan. That is music to my ears.
And I’ve been thinking about a mirror walk in my living room and bedroom 😍😍😍 Just wondering I’d command strips would be better because I’m renting and don’t want to ruin the wall if the tape is THAT strong.
Definitely
New sub! Love this and just how genuine and transparent you were in this video❤️ thank you for being so real
❤️
awl thank you... so much.
Hey,
Its beautiful both ways.. But the small table looked better than using the white shoe closet.. Maybe you can position the shoe rack else where and replace the old furniture back on the mirror wall. The mirror wall came out very beautiful, but the shoe closet eat up the beautiful wall.. Thats just my opinion of course. Please don't take my idea as critism. You did an awesome job!
Thank for sharring.
Oh no problem. I get that comment a lot. But there is no mirrors behind the cabinet. The cabinet attaches to the wall. And the little black table in person looked like a toy in that area. I really wanted a chester drawer style in my space. And that shoe cabinet only comes out from the wall about 8 inches. Its just wide and tall but not thick in dept so it was perfect. I built the mirrors around the cabinet because nothing else looked good over there...so it created the mirror idea.
Ohhh yeah I totally see what you mean. I stand corrected. I just envisioned what you said and yup, for sure its true. Girl you did a FAB job.. Thanks again for sharing your AMAZING CREATIVE wisdom!
You have solid Talent. God bless..
PS. Thanks for replying back..
Will for sure become a SUB... Say hello to your new SUBIE
JEM
Wow you made an amazing job, It looks beautiful; I like more with rhe dresser, it make balance and the white color match perfectly with the rest of decoration.
I improve my house all the time and search for decoration elements every time I have chance.
Thanks for sharing 😚
Thank you. Thank you so much.
Love it Tammy I think you just gave me some more work to do. Love your space so glam!!
+Create With Cindy why thank you. Post it if you do something. Id love to aee what you come up with or where you use this idea.
I'm impressed you put that ikea piece together, i can never complete one before giving up! LOL everything turned out beautiful and i love both looks too. maybe yo can switch out the décor seasonally with the exception of the mirror wall. you are so creative you could come up with a million looks ant they all would be bomb.
I do switch it out, I remove the love knots and put my christmas up, and when ever I have parties I do the same. But Eboni, lol, girl I never switch out my decor, I try to build up, and keep growing my style versus trying to keep up with colors and whats new in the stores. I would go broke girl and the hubby would put a hault to it, I am a house wife... he's not having it.
$99 for that dresser? I like where u can hide ur shoes but I don’t know if that dresser was worth $99 bucks!
My motto is if you dont won't to buy it then DIY it. 😉 but they did have some that were shorter for 69.00
Wow this is amazing! One of the best hacks I’ve seen, but if I did this I’d probably lose my finger or hand cause I’m goofy like that 😆 lol
thank you... Lol....you will be surprise at how great you would do it.
Tammy you definitely have some Awesome Skills. Looks Amazing with a Capital A. I love the after. Thanks for sharing and stay creative. Blessings
Thank you so much D'vine.
👍Excellent instruction. Thank you for demoing & sharing. 🤗💞🤗 Your wall & entry area looks nice. Both the before & after looks nice. 🤔😁
They both are nice, but I liked the table in the first one more. The cabinet is too big and covers most of the mirror. You can always paint the first cabinet white. That would look great. You did a great job!
Hi...trust me there is no mirror behind the cabinet. I wanted the cabinet more than the mirrors. But to make the space look great around the cabinet...I did a mirror pattern. The dresser bolts to the wall.
I don’t buy puzzle furniture with all them screws... I can’t. Lol
Lol. It was work.
This idea would draw such beautiful interest to my boring bedroom wall! You should be proud of yourself. You truly did an amazing job on this.
Awl. Thank you. Ive been thinking about doing my bedroom wall too.
Wow you did a lovely job putting those mirrors up. Next time you take on a project where you might want to remove the mirrors use industrial velcro that way you can change up as you like.
Awesome job 👍🏾😍. It really depends on what you like both are nice. The before open the room up more, because you could see in the mirrors and since the dresser is large it just made it look 👀 another section of the room... Both are lovely before and after....
I would do some gem strips or something to hide the edges of mirror but that's me. both are beautifully done!
I love elegant...but not crazy over bling. Sometimes it cheapens the look. However i cherish your suggestion and grateful that you watched my video. Thanks.
You killed that Sista & gave me a serious heads up before I start my own project... Thanks so much 👑✨👑
Awl thanks.
Thank you for using real stuff. I hate when I see people just use some cheap stick on rhinestones on a towl and tell me they made glam bling such and such. I don't want to waste even a dollar if its going to fall apart the split second it gets wet or somebody touches it.
Lol. I know what you mean. Thank you as well.
Kathy M. here. Love the after sooo much, but, I think you need to mirror your new piece of furniture to really glam it up to match.
Oool wee you dont think that would be to much bit it really sounds beautiful. Let me marinate on that tip. Thank you..
ENTRYWAY LOOKS GREAT! ALOT OF WORK. LIKE THE DECOR-LIGHT COLOR THEME IS CLASSY AND MY CHOICE AT HOME AS WELL.
Thank you so much Angela.
@@TammyBJones YOU ARE WELCOME.
Oh my God I just discovered you! Wonderful job by the way. And those pieces on the top on the shoe cabinet are amazing! Would you share where did you get them? Thank you in advance!
Thank you so much.
The pieces came from Home Goods a year ago
Tammy you are amazing. I also did a wall mirror. I loved the diamond shape but cannot cut the mirror to save my life. It looks gorgeous. I used molding around the ooutside of mirror to cover the area that did not reach the wall.
wow. I will have to check it out. was it a full wall or half wall?
Hey Tammy, it was a full wall. We have a store called dollaramma. I was able to get the mirror from them. They are about 9×9.
Oh okay... I will go plundering for it. Whats the name of the video
Hi Tammy, the link is below ua-cam.com/video/Wd0y1f3sOpY/v-deo.html
Wow you are extremely creative and resourceful! I would have never thought of that
Awl. Thank you so much
FYI. You know you can get glass squares by the box that are really cheap that would saved you time and money
They were by the box.
I enjoyed your mirror makeover i like the after it looks so beautiful. And you have a natural way of comunicating with ypur audience
Love from Portugal xx
Thank you so much. I appreciate hearing that.
This was amazing!!! I love mirrored walls and I love the way you DIYd this wall. Great job for sure. I would love something like this for my bedroom as a accent wall thanks for the inspiration ❤️❤️
Hey Hanna, I was just talking to my bestie about letting me do her back splash for her bedroom.... It would make a great bedroom backdrop. Thank you and I hope you do it.
You make it look easy! I know I'm going to mess it up somehow! Hahahaha
You will do well. Turn on music and have fun. But thank you and thanks for watching.
I like before better but both are beautiful. The before accessories & furniture was smaller for that entrance that looked like the front door. The white chest is too big for that space.
Thank you I sold that home
Love both.... but what i want to know is if you did that mosaic flower n if you have the video ❤
No but thats the main question of the year. It came fro. Ross for 59.00 a year ago. Half of youtube owns it.
After..! Great job. However, like the other stuff in place of the dresser, in front the new mirror. I wish I could do something like that's. I LOVE THE RESULTS
Thanks Mama F. Its worth a try go small. And you can even do this on foam boarding for easy removal.
