The fact that they switched from cvt belt to cvt chain is fantastic. That belt always got damaged under high tension. Believe me i know, i have the 2013 pathfinder. Its now 2021 and due to that chain, nissan cvt transmissions have very rarely given any sort of issues since 2016 up
I've been S/CUV shopping for six months now. I have test driven almost every car in this segment. I drove a Pathfinder today and loved it. It screamed Infinity in every way (of course) and rivals the Audi Q7 w/o the bullshit price. Thanks for your excellent video...what a big help!
I love my 2015 nissan pathfinder. I can stream my itunes from my phone and I can stream pandora. My kids especially loves it. The 3rd row is to die for.
Nice review until (8:53) he forgot what vehicle he was reviewing as Randy mentioned. I own a 2015 Pathfinder SV AWD so I was dismayed when he started touting the Durango.
@@antwash21 Even though I've had this 4-1/2 years, I'm still lukewarm about it but would recommend this Pathfinder to a friend. Definitely has power, lots more than the Rogue. Rides and handles very well. Love the front wheel drive in the mountains of Colorado. Mine has Intelligent 4-wheel drive which I wish was True 4-wheel with high and low gears. Auto transmission is new to me (drove manual shift for 50yrs) but has very smooth shifting. Fits 7-adults without being too cramped. In 2-wheel setting I can get 26mpg on the highway. Bad snowy roads, city traffic, I've gotten as low as 20mpg. So technically it is a good vehicle and its durability is better than many other makes in the same class.
Fantastic review. I'm leaning towards the pathfinder over the qx because of towing capacity. Plus its it's hard to find the qx with the panoramic roof. Exterior in my opinion is much nicer on the qx though
Oh shit, you're right! Funny but I was looking into purchasing the Pilot and dismissed it because of the low towing capacity. Effing Google let me down. I would definitely be only looking at AWD anyway.
My 2014 Nissan Pathfinder CVT transmission was replaced this year (2019).($7000) Then my power liftgate strut rusted and broke, dealer said it would cost $2000. Google what I'm saying, dont just take my word for it. I'M NEVER GOING TO BUY A NISSAN EVER AGAIN!!
your talkign about a 2014 cvt with the belt, the 2016 has the chain, the cvts are much better from 2016 up and the delaer is dumb or your to easily swindled. the power lift can be done easily at home by yourself.

Just got mine. the best so far and the kids love it.
I wish all reviews were that comprehensive and non-partial

Do you still have it? How do you like it? Any transmission issues?

Tesh Hamilton how do you feel about it
8:53 He starts talking about "Dodges Durango" and never stops.
Me and my family love my Pathfinder 2015.
How is it
Do you still like it
Does it gave any transmission problem?
Most informative review I have seen. Thanks!

Pat Beekman How do you like it so far? I’m considering a used 2015 Pathfinder SV model. Any insight would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

I just got a used 2015 pathfinder awd and I love it
I am planning to buy a used Nissan Pathfinder 2015. Need your help

Everything still going well? I've been looking at one.
@@artdogg50 so far so good, no complaints. It's been 1 year and it seems very reliable. Responds very well and driving is smooth

I think this guy's ex-girlfriend was a Dodge Durango the way he talks about them
Is this an SL trim
i just got one todayy!
Do you still like I was thinking about buyone
+Margaret Wilson I love it its a great car
it's big and comfortable
Do you like this car?
Do you still have your car😏😜
Great review man!!! Almost made up my mind🤔
My family drive is a 2015 pathfinder
How is it?
The SL doesn't let you stream Pandora from your phone to the car disappointed 30,000 car and I can't stream music
Mines either i hate that smh!!!!
You left out one top 3rd row crossover which gives the Pathfinder competition. 5k lbs towing AND better 3rd row space... Honda Pilot
I believe the Pilot only has a 3500 lb tow rating.
@@BennyFlyby that's for 2 wheel drive models. But whole point of getting an SUV is AWD... at which point those models have a 5K lbs towing capacity.

I want my dad to buy pathfinder but he will buy Nissan patrol which one

What about 2015?
Very nice 👍 care
Don't buy! Consumer Reports readers voted it as extremely unreliable and one of buyer's biggest purchasing regret.
Who tf reads that.
That is exactly why I went with the Honda Pilot. Transmission fails at around 150K km from many posts I read.
