My biggest take away was to tell chatgpt to ask me questions. As soon as this headache goes away, I'm ready to tackle it. Really appreciate this video. I'm going to watch it again.
Has to be the OpusClip highlight. I'm blown away at the time I'll save on editing. TBH the editing time is my biggest hurdle for my publishing consistently. Also, I won't miss Grow with Video 2025!

Fantastic video! AI is here to stay and this is how I see it: The task at hand is the 'child, I am the 'mother" and AI is the "baby-sitter". AI will not be able to raise my child for me, it'd be unreasonable to expect that, in fact. But AI will add value and help me stay sane in the process of bringing up my child by saving me time and money, while allowing me to expand on what I already know by providing technical assistance. The AI/babysitter certainly has more knowledge and data in dealing with the task/child, but it is still me/mother who is responsible for how the task/child turns out.

My biggest take away is to just pick one of these amazing AI tools. Fireflies AI to turn my weekly Q&A into engaging content. I’d like to add one to this list, for creative people, Canva is now creating a blog post or email from a design, super dope 💯😎
I just used that technique with chat GPT and it gave me a great starting script. The crazy thing is that a couple of the transitional portions are extremely close to how I actually write and talk. I did have to type it out bc I’m at work. For the naysayers, I just came off of my 5 months of busy time/late nights/weekends plus just finished tasks that I took on from others …so the ten minutes I took is all good.
Well, it will replace the people who you would hire to do the things you don't want to or can't do, so it will replace some jobs. For every person that saves money because they don't need to hire someone there is another person who shuts down their agency of doing those things.
Absolutely. I think we are going to see a big depression because of it, since everyone will be useless, even content creators. I mean who need videographers? who need musicians? writers?.... even being an engineer, a lawyer or a doctor or flipping burgers will be useless. I am not against AI when it is for making work more efficient and faster, like cutting dead times, splitting a full song into stems and so on. But when an AI is making the music, the video, the blog article and the pics, then I wonder: do you AI user really enjoy making what you do, or are you trying to check another task from your list for the sake of it?

I am not against AI completely, it can make useful things and speed up the process, indeed. For example getting stems from a finished song, review grammar and orthography, etc. But I hate that it is extremely unethical. AIs have been fed with music, art and works of real artists, without their consents and not even giving them a penny. With Udio, for example, if you make a prompt quite specific, you can end up getting the song that was used to feed it (as Anthony Fantano demonstrated). Also, when you relegate your creation to the AI, do you really enjoy the process or is it just another task from your list that you are checking? Seriously, an AI made the pics, an AI made the B-Roll, an AI made the script, an AI made the music, Chat GPT told me what to talk about .... what is that you are really doing? AI really makes me loose all the interest for creating content. And you, consumers, get ready to be inundated with a flood of AI content that will make you so bored when you are on social media.
Ai isn't really a tool when it comes to artwork. Ai "art" literally steals artwork and art styles from established artists. Ai has the ability to be very powerful but limitations need to be put on it.
So far we can clearly see that something is AI generated. That ad for me was garbage, I could see from a mile it was AI generated. Same for all the Chat GPT emails I receive every day ("hey, hope this email finds you well..." typical start from Chat GPT). What I completely hate of AI is that it has been trained from real art, music and content of real people without any consent and compensation. AI lovers get excited really quick, but they don't realize at all what cost have the creative people to pay for it.
I agree this conversation wasn’t about mastering. It was more showing applications in their use case scenarios. She said nothing about race in a negative way or said anything about racism.😂 This was a great talk from Nicky.
