Cropping Art Images in Photoshop

You've taken a photo art that you want to present accurately proportioned with minimal distortion. If you're lucky, the crop tool alone will be all you need. Usually, though, you need to tweak the image a little so it looks like the original. This is how I usually do it in Photoshop -- though you can adapt this to other image editors.
