I love this movie, but it is super confusing. It might be confusing because the company that made it did so without permission or input from Takara. The result is that this film has absolutely nothing to do with Diaclone other than the obvious robot design similarities. To make things just a bit more confused, there’s also a VOTOMS Scope Dog in there for some reason as well. Or it might be confusing because the story doesn’t make all that much sense!

TakaraTomy already rebooted Diaclone seriese. They should make anime, too. They know how Transformers worked in the world.
