      @@MsJudythe minute the crowd booed her mom, she INSTANTLY without thought said “don’t do that” defending her mother. This tells me that the mom is sincere. No tears doesn’t equate to crocodile tears. Her daughter defended her against the audience, and she passed her test. Period

    That second story is actually heartbreaking. She doesn’t understand that she was groomed by him. I’m glad Steve hit a nerve when he spoke to her at the end, because she IS a victim, even if she doesn’t realize it. I hope she gets some therapy and understands what happened to her and she is able to press charges against him.

      Yup. I was groomed, molested & r*ped up until I was 19. I always felt disgusted and blamed myself. When in reality it was not my fault. I was being groomed.. I guess we feel some type of shame bc it continued to happen even after we became adults but we are STILL victims. I relate to her story a lot. Especially with her family blaming HER instead of the pedo. 😡

This is the reason my community doesn’t come forward because it turns into we wanted we let it happen we didn’t tell 😔 the fear we SA victims have people can never imagine!! She was groomed she was made this way to think this is okay she knows it’s not and HER CRY AT THE END SHOWS THAT SHE TRULY NEEDS THE HELP!! To the mom in the first story, if you were molested you SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT TO LOOK FOR. You CANNOT afford to be WILLFULLY BLIND in this world. Your beautiful daughter ended up paying for that blindness in the worst possible way, and that is NOT okay. I'm sorry, truly, that that happened to you, but your daughter's well-being and safety were your priority. To both of you now, mom and daughter....heal. Find intensive therapy, separate and, possibly later, together. You both have a right to be happy, and the monster that plagued you both is gone from this earth. Don't give him any more of yourselves. I hope you can heal and live your best lives ❤

      @robinenoch7362 Please don't blame the victims. The mother had been a victim as a child and as an adult. She may have seen sketchy things, but she was unable to help herself, let alone her daughter.

      @robinenoch7362 20 днів тому

      @donnawheeler6283 , I'm so sorry if I sounded like I was blaming her. It wasn't my intention. I think my reaction came from someone I know went through something similar, and she battles it, ferociously, years later. And I know you're right. Someone who's not dealt with their own trauma is just as broken. Please accept my sincerest apology, I did not mean to sound so harsh.

      My mom having been sexually abused as a child made her blind to abuse against her own daughters. She chose a 40 year old man to babysit me at the age of four when he started raping and sodomizing me until I was five. She said there were no red flags. I told her there were she just did not see them. Even after contacting law enforcement which is good that she did and we had a whole court hearing and I had to testify and the whole crap shoot we moved and she didn't see the red flags that my kindergarten teacher was molesting me. The time in my childhood that made me realize I could never go to my mom for anything was when I was assaulted by our 16 year old neighbor at the age of 10 and when I finally broke free and ran home and told my mom all she had to say was why did you let him do it ? When I had my own two children I was very hyper vigilant in keeping them safe. My mom is extremely mentally ill now so maybe she was when she was raising us decades ago. I became very mentally ill halfway through my kid's childhood and it never stopped me from being hyper Vigilant with my children's safety. I've always considered her criminally negligent. I have very limited contact with her because she always digs into me always puts me down always makes me feel like like I'm less than always competes with me as if where sisters or something. She's a very very toxic person. I spent $25,000 divorcing my abusive ex I'm not allowing any more abuse into my life ever again even if you're my mother

    The third story with the two guys that were inside together.. I'm so glad they have each other. They are the most genuine people I've ever seen on the show. The woman was wrong in my eyes because it was 3 different men at 3 different times and that's not fair on the impression she's gave him the whole time. IF it was once ok maybe just a mistake and she thought he was messing her around when he didn't come to her like he said he would... but 3 different times with 3 different men?? He seems like a really genuine guy who appreciates what a woman does for him rather than take advantage... He definitely deserves better!!!!

    Vindication and validation for both, thank you, Steve Wilkos. I will pray for Selema - it broke my heart, hearing how she felt as a little girl living with a predator stepfather. She was eloquent and strong. It's also the first time I've heard my own story out of someone else's mouth (except my predator got no conviction, went on to molest his own daughter/my half sister, he killed my Mother, then stole my million and a half inheritance from her to me - from me) - he stole everything precious from my life - but he couldn't steal my God. Her courage, humility, and humanity are inspiring. I wish she were my sister. ***PS - God bless her, her Mother is right - who are WE to judge her? Have you stood in those shoes? - no one knows the hell she lived through. America needs a wake-up call on the value of women (even if it did vote in a President that's a convicted rapist - 👀exactly what I mean) - we are half the world - we can give birth - you wouldn't BE here but for women. I'm so sick of 0-99-year-old-bully-'boys' - where have our men gone? Thank you for paying for her name change!

You believed her husband over her child. She wanted sympathy from people. You and your husband are the bad guy. He done it and you allowed it. She even made her daughter write letters to get him out of prison earlier, who does that. That isn't a mistake at all. She chose a man over her baby and that is what it comes down to. She might not have known when it happened but she damn well knew when it went to court didn’t she. And she still made her daughter write letters and has every excuse in the book completely disgusting woman with a I’m sorry that don’t matter now when she is grown. The least the mother could do is accept the responsibility but like a typical woman she refuses to take responsibility for her own actions. I haven’t watch the other yet

      First thing is to WAIT until you know the guy BEFORE ever even letting them know you have a child. I dated my current husband for a year before he ever found out about my daughter. Then it took yet another year before he got to meet her. I had to KNOW what kind of person he was. It took a long time. Eventually, my DAUGHTER chose to have him adopt her. Because he turned out to be a good man, a good father figure. (Her biological father walked out of her life at the age of 3.) BUT the choice was left up to HER. We reached out to her grandmother, the bio dad chose not to contest it, and she became my husband's daughter. BUT, this all took TIME. He had to earn MY trust, then HER trust.
      Women need to STOP trying to force your men on your children BEFORE even YOU know what kind of person he is! IT TAKES TIME! A LOT OF TIME!

    The first "mom" should buy a lottery ticket with the amount of (undeserved) dumb luck she has. She's so lucky that her daughter forgave her. She didn't 'make a mistake', she made bad choices, repeatedly, carried by her daughter's back - not her own. That "mom" didn't even hug her daughter, the DAUGHTER came up to her. And no tears. At all. I'm sorry for her being abused as well as a child and obviously later on as an adult, but that's not an excuse for being so self centered and disinterested in her daughter's pain (which she partially caused, not directly, but by neglect). She's not a good mother and I wouldn't call her a good person, either. If you're that awful to your own flesh and blood, your own child that clearly loves you to bits, someone that SHOULD matter the absolute most to you, how two-faced are you with strangers?
    Sorry for ranting, but people like that boil my blood.

    You should be sorry for what you put your daughter through. My parents never knew till the day we went to my abusers funeral. I was around maybe 8 I kept it due to threats. I feel she remembers what happened she doesn’t want to admit it.
