Yes. Honestly, I'm quite mad about aelita even more than Jeremy. SHE was the one Jeremy looked for for help. For a good chunk of the show, she knew more than Jeremy. They were a team, I can specifically recall Aelita telling Jeremy "we can do this, together". At the beginning it made sense, bc Laura is better with virus stuff (even tho it doesn't really, bc Jeremy has made powerful viruses before) but what doesn't make sense is that she replaces aelita in the "brains" team. That Jeremy looks for Laura's help BEFORE Aelitas. SHE IS AS SMART OR SMARTER THAN JEREMY AND KNOWS AS MUCH OF MORE ABOUT COMPUTERS. Sorry for the long rant but it's the only thing that really bothered me about the characterization in this series. Everything else could be explained, this can't.
Aelita: "Mantas!" Yumi: "Since when were they aquatic?" Laura: "Aren't they supposed to be aquatic?" Me: Laura this is the first time I've ever liked you for more than two seconds.
This is one of my favorite episodes so far. They actually addressed the disappearance of Aelita’s mother! And in quite an interesting twist. And they acknowledged Kiwi at the very least. Also shoutouts to Mantas actually being mantas.
Took the writers 18 episodes to acknowledge Kiwi. I know it's just Odd's pet and not necessarily an essential character, but this should have been explained early on. This still doesn't explain why Digital Odd lost his dog designs (and cat ears). Now that kind of leaves Yumi's brother (just a reference is good), even though he lives at home. Look at Laura sitting at the table with the Lyoko Warriors. I'm wondering if Laura still likes-likes Jeremy, though. Ever since the first return to the past, she just seems to like being around him and accepted as a friend. How the hell did William get devirtualized with one shot? Smh.
They took their time to acknowledge Sissi too, and she was just in a couple episodes. Not that I missed her a lot, but it shouldn't be too difficult to at least make reference to her

I don't see why Aelita wanted to continue when she saw her mom on the web-cam? Sure, they want to get rid of Xana but at the same time, they could try and find out what is going on with Aelita's mom being there for.

XANA is an incredibly dangerous computer program who could destroy all of humanity if it were at it's full strength, and Aelita knows this. Her life has been filled with trauma and grief because of XANA and Lyoko. So when given the chance to either destroy XANA, or find her mother, it makes sense that she chooses to destroy XANA. But the Lyoko Warriors know how much Aelita has been through, and how much she's lost, so they all choose to put a hold on destroying XANA, in favor of finding Anthea (Aelita's mother). They do this because as much as Aelita may want to find her mom, she wouldn't, as shown in this episode. So they let her know it's okay to be "selfish" for a change.
honestly this was a rly sweet resolution from the characters, choosing not to kill Xana just to find Aelitas mom is honestly really honorable of them all :>

@Strider Xanthos I heard that there will be a cartoon convention soon. The main theme will be code lyoko and the voice actors of Yumi,odd,ulrick and Jeremy will be there. Hope we could get a surprise of a new code lyoko season.
Am I the only one who doesn’t like the way everyone’s virtual avatars look? As opposed to the previous season, the characters CGI models look lazily designed. I like it otherwise, but I just don’t like the way the characters cgi models are designed. Also, why do the towers look like square rectangular structures? I liked the tubular shaped towers better. Which begs the question, did the creators of this show watch any of the original code lyoko? I think not. Pros; everything else looks good. I like the action sequences. The vehicle the odd drives through the cortex is nicely designed and very original if I might add. Anyone else agree with me?
