Another great video. I'm a regular visitor to Amsterdam and your videos are amongst the best. You've obviously colour adjusted the video to make the yellows appear more orange. Would love to see the video without colour adjustment to see what it looked like naturally. I bet it looks just as good.
Thank you! Yes I colour adjusted the video, I like to add some artistic element to my videos. What device are you watching it on? Colours vary widely across devices such as telephone, laptop, and television. You can play with your screen settings a little bit to make the viewing experience more pleasing for you!
@@JeronimoAmbience I watch your videos on my ISF calibrated UHD tv. I work in the graphics industry so colour correction is part of my job and something that I notice straight away. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to your next video.
@Balearic88 Amazing, so you obviously know what you are talking about haha! I am curious to know how you think my videos look on that calibrated television? Feel free to share some feedback if you feel like, I am always trying to improve my content, and suggestions for improvement are highly appreciated. Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it! And thanks for leaving a comment!
@@JeronimoAmbience Your videos look great on my large screen TV. You obviously put care and attention into creating them and they are amongst the best looking Amsterdam videos on UA-cam. I also very much like that you film in areas of beautiful Amsterdam that most other creators do not. Too many other videos just concentrate on the Dam/Damrak/RLD area. You film in other districts of the city like Oud Zuid etc. That is something that I very much appreciate.
@@Balearic89 Thanks a lot for your feedback! I like that you recognize what I purposively do, I am happy that you found my channel. Hopefully see you again in the comments in the future! 💪
Wow….nice, immersive tour. You really captured the sights and sounds of Amsterdam, very atmospheric, and love the fall colors. Enjoyed this, from new subscriber👍❤️🙏
Why do u add so much saturation to all of your videos Just look at the licence plates and the color red and orange toooo much ! Tone it down a bit please overall great video of Amsterdam..

What binaural microphone are you using? Binaural is more intended for headphone use, and with the volume set correctly, with my headphones on, it sounded natural at 10%, so your levels are quite hot. I've recently experimented with neck speakers, which work quite well for binaural as long as the "perspective control" (the volume!) is set just right.
@@JeronimoAmbience dpa's? (the link just showed foams) using them outside the ear won't give you the best binaural results, as the capsules should be at the ear canal entrance. Checkout my poor explanation of binaural on my channel, and the importance of the ear. Don't be fooled by microphones labelled as "binaural" if they do not come with ears! Mostly, the term "binaural" is used most of the time in the wrong way, due to ignorance with the true meaning of the word binaural.
@@sr3d-microphones Yes, DPA's! I am aware of that, I have done extensive research because I want to deliver the highest quality possible to my viewers. I am in fact using them properly (like you are saying), by using sillicon ears with the microphones exactly at the right position, and with the right amount of length between them! Thank you for your concerns haha!
Lovely walk, amazing setting, but... horrible color adjustments. Feels fake. I'm 100% sure that the real thing was beautiful, so I'm not sure why you had this need to turn the yellow into orange. But this trend (to color adjust) seems to be the norm nowadays on travel videos. As if the real thing was something ugly, something that needed fixing. Can't you just post the video without any editing?
Hello, thank you for your (blunt) feedback! I like to hear it because there is always something that can be improved. Seriously, I put it into my backpack, figuratively speaking, of things to improve. Now, I would like to explain to you why it is that I like to do colour adjustments, to give you a better idea why I do it. The videos that I produce are long form format without any interruptions. I am not talking or interacting in the video. It all comes down to the environment which I am filming, in terms of both audio and video, and my camera movement. I always aim to film what is interesting and beautiful, based on what I personally feel fits the ambience of the video. Besides that, I don’t have a lot of areas in which I can express my creativeness. So, as many creators do, I like to colour adjust my videos to give it a certain mood, ambience, vibe or whatever you like to call it. It doesn’t mean that I think ‘realistic’ colours are ugly, but it’s an artistic decision to colour adjust. Besides aforementioned reasons, it would otherwise be hard to distinguish myself from others. I hope you understand!
