Lol, reminds me of this game I used to play in school called "BS" short for Bullsh*t. The point is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. Everyone gets and equal share of the deck and you put down whatever the next card (either up or down) but you can do more than one if you have it. You can try and lie to say you put down 2 of a number but it be a lie. You have the choice to call "BS" on someone and if they lied, they pick up the discard pile. If you were mistaken, then you take the pile. It keeps going until one person gets rid of their hand, like in uno. I remember during free time once, our teacher getting on us because we'd forget we were in class and forget to say BS, instead of the full word. XD
i think the type of deck you are referring to is a Pinochle (pea-knuckle for those who don't know how its pronounced) deck
