- Hey guys, welcome back to another VLOG.
It’s been a while since our last upload, but as some may know we have been working on a cattle station for the past 3 months. We’re on a station in North West QLD on 400 000 acres with 10 000 head of cattle.
Hope you enjoy this little snippet into what we have been getting up to over the past 3 months. I know it’s a little choppy and we haven’t been able to include heapsss of information, but it’s pretty hard filming while working. Two weeks left of work and we’ll be back on the road exploring this beautiful country of ours!

Hey guys, what is the name of the cattle station
What station are you on, we worked 8 years on a station in NW Qld
What are these things in the bag are feeding there sir?
Awesome video!!!! :)
What software do you produce your videos on?
Thankyou! We just use adobe premiere elements at the moment :)
what song is the one at the start?
Piglets are born with stripes and spots for camouflage from predators.
hey guys would love to do this. just wondering how you contact the owners or how you find places where you can do this.
It's a great experience!! We loved our time on the station.
You can find the emails of some of the big companies online and email direct or we just put up a post on a few facebook pages related to finding station work
@@thecruiserlife4310 thanks
Y’all need a cake feeder
What is the breed of cows?
How many cattle do y’all lose from saltwater crocodiles?
Hey guys we found that vid really interesting 😊
What an experience and how cute are the 🐽 piggies 💖
Just wondering what you lived in for the time you are there?
Keep safe ✨cheers Brian & Deb
Thanks so much for watching :) yes such an awesome experience! Loving our time out here.
They do have donga style single accomodation, so we just chose to put up our camper trailer and live in that while here (it's bigger than the rooms haha)
Perhaps I would do fine living there. To me brahma are used to that climate. The arid landscape is the norm in that region and geez I wouldn't be afraid of 1 rat. But more the snake that it might lure. Or a million of his (rats') cousins if they get wind he has an easy life.
That’s what I do I’m a contractor caretaker on large properties northwest qld 👍🍻🇦🇺
oh nice! living the life out there.. loved our time on the station - still our favourite experince to date
Great video! I'm envious of that life on the Station. Can you tell the brand of those white/ light colored Half Button Work shirts you are wearing?
Thanks mate, I think we had hardyakka and pilbara brand shirts
@@thecruiserlife4310 Thank you.. Thought maybe they were Just Country brand since there isn't a tag on the pocket flap.

I only have one question ya'll. Im not seeing much for the cattle to eat is there different places were there is grass?
Mostly just the lick we put out
Yes. Not much grass around the water points, which are few and far between. They get eaten out fairly quickly. Lots of good feed a few hours walk out. They eat their fill and then come into the water in the evening.
Those Braham cows are rather thin, not much grazing there.
Looked like zero grazing there.
It looks peaceful other than having to work all the time
It’s good for you. It builds character and a work ethic.
Can you show me the part we’re you we’re actuall working? Believe me I’ve worked on a cattle station and there is definitely no time to be filming a vlog
Haha this was filmed over a couple of days when we actually had some time to film - but definitely agree!! We were very fortunate to have a pretty cruisey job 🤙🏼
Well spotted, mate. But it’s not all mustering and branding. These wouldn’t last 5 mi utes of that.
I really wanna work on a station when I'm older but idk if I have what it takes tbh and I dont really know how to do anything on a station lots of my family have worked on stations but I just havnt been taught yet just wondering if anyone can give me any tips or anything about working on stations
Mate if you’re still looking, they teach you everything you need to know more or less if you have prior info or experience it always helps but they’ll help you like an apprenticeship until you’ve got it down, and if you like being outside and don’t mind being dusty and sweaty then it’s pretty nice, but not something I’d go into for the rest of my life unless I owned the joint
Guys why this area still isolated from city goverment need improov this place
nice vid if you can get passed that dreadful introductory noise
