You forgot the rule about how the game ends when the first person goes bankrupt, and then winner is the person with the most money after all the properties and hoses are sold
Thanks Preston. I like that one. There are a few others that I didn’t include in an effort to keep it short and simple. Sometimes we start by distributing half of the properties randomly too. That really speeds it up.
0:21 This depends on what version of Monopoly you have the current versions show which cards are which by having their respective logos on the back Community Chest and Chance cards so you know which one is which. While the older versions don’t have their logos on the cards.
Poker chips idea sounds great. I calculated how many chips I'd need to replace the paper money and ended up with around 100 to 120 of each 5, 25 and 100.. but chips are quite expensive.. I wonder with the additional rules you've set, if we can do with less.. by experience how many chips do you need?
We usually give $1,000 to each player. 7 black ($100), 10 green ($25) and 10 red ($5). So 27 chips per person plus another 50 or so in the bank. So about 200 chips total. Since you are using chips, you don’t need as many small bills. Amazon has good deals in cheap poker chips.
This was a great video, Im surprised there isn't other videos talking about this!

How about adding a fine to Free Parking instead of not doing anything on it? That way players can be easily thrown off guard and speed up the game.
That could work. But it is called FREE parking, so that’s kind of mean :)
Paper money is better
Why?
@@HowToFunandGames when ur in a game, the paper money feels like real money
