What do you do to prepare on race week? Let us know!
Enter into FLOW The psychology of optimal experience and the wonderful period of taper.
Global Triathlon Network what is the
Recomendable breakfast to have that day???
Tapering: conditioning, relaxationing, activationing, carbloading, not skipping breakefasting.
@@camilaestrada4675 it's the breakfast that you've practised with but high in carbohydrate and low in fat and fibre is a good rule to follow.
Camila Estrada whatever breakfast you’ve been training with. DO NOT TRY ANYTHING NEW.
This channel has been invaluable for me and my training! thank you so much! :) I have 21 weeks before my 2 week taper and while that sounds like a lot of time, I know it will be here QUICKLY!
This is all well and good advice but now I’m left feeling REALLY nervous 😂
Advice for race-cation from a recent IM Boulder, CO. As a Brit who loves his food, I very recently got lured in by the delights of the local food scene and was violently sick on Friday night and recovering on Saturday after over indulging! Still, managed to get around in one piece Sunday. That really wasn't the plan so even if it does go south, don't panic!
I am gonne run my first tri, an Olympic distance one, next Sunday. I dedicate it to you guys.
Prefect! Planning on doing my first sprint race of the year this Saturday, so this couldn’t be a more perfect video! Wish me luck as I do some last-minute tinkering on the bike.
Awesome - have a good one!
You guys have so much quality content! Prepping for Ironman Florida this November and you guys are helping me so much
Can you do a video (or have you done one) on the basic bike maintenance skills you need to be "self sufficient on the course?
Your content is amazing and has made me confident enough to dip my toes in, this is the last area of concern as I am new to biking.
Can you do a video on how to boost recovery after a race?
Fraser! 🤗
I’ve had good luck with reverse tapers before my big 70.3 or full distance races so the week before entails a bit of work !
gr8 video guys
Always take a good 💩 in raceday. Otherwise you will be in trouble during the race!
Jup, make sure to bring some coffee to get the system started.
I have a road race coming up and somme how yt knows to recomand me this kind of videos...
how about doing a quarter triathlon a week before half ironman? too much?? even wehn doing easy
I did on monday. feels good next day, and I guess will recover completely till the race day.
6 hours the week before a race!?! I'd nevwr
Just did 11h, but I was doing 17h at peak, only 4h now in race week
kind of wish there was an outline in the description of what to do on each day so I don't have to keep re watching the video.
