Degensis is a interesting setting different enough from the fantasy settinga in D&D. Most of the campagins I have played in is generic fantasy. The only flaw so far from the lore is the author leans into troupes about africa and looks more like it was drawn from the pulp era, than insipration from actual research. Going to play my a second session of the game and will get a better grap of the how the system works.
It's one of those games i can't stop reading about and allways want more, but i would never actually play it, there'are just sooooo much requirements to the GM and players in order to have a session as "intended".
now I imagine a scenario where the party sent by one of the cults to go to concession and buy them a specific case of land. On the way there, they got their money for the concession stolen and have to go around to get em back. And if they really perform good on this, they will found out that the group that stole the money, do so because there is danger beneath the staked land and the cult that send the party wants to use them. After getting the land, the party can inspect it and find a tunnel to a bunker of sleepers. So the cult want to use these sleepers as weapon to weaken Afrika.. would the party allow that or would the party become traitors?

I'm starting to think this might be my favorite game of all time, and I haven't even played it yet. The rules and setting are just so good.
