I really enjoyed your talk with Nelson Aspen, this was great! I have to admit I have had mixed feelings about your channel and seeing things from the journalist, interviewer’s prospective. At times, totally agreeing with you about how clearly rude the celebrities were being (Blake interview) and then watching the one with Ann and thinking I don’t blame Ann for not wanting to sing her answers and thought it was a little rude of you to push it after asking her first and her being clear she wasn’t interested in doing that. I do have compassion that the celebrities are just people too at the end of the day and I can understand anyone, everyone having an off day or simply not clicking with an interviewer. what I really appreciate about you and your channel is the message you are making clear, that the bottom line is, these celebrities get paid the big bucks to preform and be professional and that these interviews are a part of that job and should be handled professionally. They should bring that same charm and professionalism to the interviewer who’s trying to get a good interview for the public to enjoy, as the celebrities do when they are in front their audience, or when accepting a award. I think it’s kinda cool that you are bringing attention to, shining a light on this need for all of us to step up our game when it comes to politeness and how we make others feel, it really makes me think twice about my own behavior when having a bad day, I don’t want to hurt anyone. Honestly before watching your channel, my thoughts about the job of a journalist was how very glamorous the job must be traveling the world, interviewing the most beautiful and talented people in the world. I definitely have a different level of respect for you guys now after learning how hard you guys work, how much prep-work goes into trying to get a great interview and realize it takes a brave, strong person to think outside the box and get a interview that stands out and realizing it’s not all glamour. It’s a very interesting prospective to learn the hard work that goes into your job and see it through a different lens. Thank you for sharing and making me think on a personal level, just how much a brief interaction can stay with another person, even if it’s just allowing someone in the grocery store to skip ahead of us because they only have a couple things to check out, our attitudes can make a day better or worse, and what we might not think much of, others can ponder on it long after we have forgotten. Ahah! Good ol' Nelson. His entertainment report was always the bright spot of Aus morning television for me. I always wanted the show to hurry up and get to his segment 😂
Blake Lively again, just not a good look...too much of an ego in several instances over the years. Learned today once again about the importance of respect, dignity and professionalism ❤ it should not be that hard.
I’ve had the worst day in the world when my husband told me he didn’t love me anymore. I still treated everyone I encountered that day with kindness and respect. No excuse ever. Sure celebrities have bad days, but us mere mortals treat people beautifully when our world is falling apart
Of course I don‘t know Hugh Jackman, but we have impressions of people. Mine is that he thinks he is better than he actually is. Needless to say, he has quite a few skills, but e.g. I never liked his singing, I just don‘t think it sounds too good. And then „the greatest showman“, my impression was like he wanted to do it, because that’s what he thinks he is (and I don’t). The experience Nelson mentioned makes him much more sympathetic and approachable (and totally not arrogant).
Thanks again for having me on for a chat! So much fun to look back on " the good, the bad and the ugly!" Let me know how you like the "Dancing Between the Raindrops" novels, too! xxx
Celebrities are simply human beings like the rest of us. Sometimes, we all just don’t feel like smiling and being nice. 🤷♂️ The important thing is to apologize, afterwards.
I am an introvert to the extreme so while I have obstacles in social situations, I have never had one encounter where I wasn’t ready to smile and be nice to someone. Unless they do or say something really nasty that was unwarranted, I can’t imagine having such an awful disposition toward someone who is at no fault, no matter what kind of day I’ve had prior. No wonder people think I’m weird 😂.
@@Gina-Montana Exactly. There is no excuse for their rudeness. IF, an interviewer upsets you, be professional about it. Don't try to belittle them or embarrass them. You know like Blake Lively did. Again though, I still think the best action is don't interview them or give them the attention.
@@Gina-Montanaright. I just retired. I started working at 14. I showed up at work ready to be polite to and thoughtful with everyone I encountered, even when I went through very difficult times.
@@GwenMotoGirl I was thinking the same thing. I recently retired after over 40 years in customer service related jobs in banking and property management. I had two sudden deaths in my family and still had to greet customers with a courteous smile. It was part of the job. The boss (the bank president) said this applied even if we didn’t like the person because when we were at work we represented the bank, not ourselves. Good advice in all work related situations.
I hate being scolded too, pet peeve of mine lol just talk to me normally I'm probably more apt to understand what the problem is 😂 this was fantastic, your guest was a riot! ❤
I like how Nelson said we have to remember celebrities can have a bad day Nelson is right if they dont want to do it they should have it in their contract otherwise suck it up I like how Nelson described hugh jackman and tom cruise
I think there is a correlation with working well with others with longevity and doing well in the entertainment industry. Seeing how many stars are lovely.
Not being able to look in someone’s eyes when you talk to them is a social anxiety issue… people on the spectrum have that problem and also fully autistic people have it. Just because Robert De Niro is a star and a good actor doesn’t mean he doesn’t have major social anxiety. As an actress myself, I’ve worked with a few people like that over the years. I also dated someone like that. He would look me in the eyes, but if we went to a store and he asked the person behind the counter a question, he couldn’t look at the person when the person answered him so the person would look at me and answer me instead. It was pretty bizarre, but I knew he has social anxiety issues.
Not to make excuses, but I think Ryan Reynolds has talked about having anxiety, so might be why he wanted questions before hand. With my anxiety, the unknown can be paralyzing. As for Blake, she needs to take some PR classes. And Tom Cruise is in a cult so he's probably well trained in positive interaction to lure people in 😂 allegedly. 😅
Then these people need to refuse to be interviewed. There is No excuse for their rudeness. Personally I think the only good things about celebrity interviews is that sometimes they are exposed for the horrible people they really are.
I get the age thing that they dont want to acknowledge it in public. I think a lot of companies / industries can be unconsciously ageist. I’m not a celebrity but in my industry I try and keep age a low profile as people make judgements about when people are going to stop working.
Anyone else had a revelation about celebrities? Be it, sports, musicians, actors, models, fashion designers, politicians,I’m over the vanity, and holier then thou attitudes. I’m sure there are some lovely ones out there but NO-ONE is more important then another. Don’t tell us what to do, don’t act like ur the King/Queen of the universe. Rant over.
I feel like a fraud is being committed on us, the readers, when a celebrity is given the questions in advance. Ryan Reynolds always comes off to me as someone who's trying way too hard to be funny. That's probably why he wants the questions in advance so he can prepare funny responses. But, I think you journalists are doing us and yourselves a huge disservice by doing this. No integrity whatsoever. In this period of "fake news," you should do better, even with celebrities!
The situations that you as interviewers are dropped into…amazing you can come back the next day and face the day!!!😅❤ Are there sleepless nights when you feel there may be a delicate balance at the next “talk”??? Thank you all 🇨🇦
@Flaawsometalk I really think Blake was being catty to the umteenth degree with someone who wasnt even in the room . She was clearly trying to make a moment exactly like Scarlet Johansen with the notoriouse questions about her underwear . She was being competitive with Ryans ex who wasnt even in the room .You caught her at her cattiest most narcissistic moment that fell flat on its face instead revealing her vile nature and apauling behavior towards you and mimicing scarjo . Sociopaths do these things thinking it will make them look better 💩 . Thank You for speaking out about it ,not hiding which is done too often out of fear .
It is well known that Paul Rudd doesn’t age but I think whenever he is on talk shows talking about sexiest man alive and age stuff like that I think he is truly bothered maybe he doesn’t like getting older or he hates the way he looks or he feels insecure with his body which is fair and considering how so many hosts and fans talk about that with him I’d imagine he gets sick of it and has a breaking point I would too

I’m curious if Ryan was involved with Marvel at that point. In that case he could have been worried about potential spoiler questions, and we all know how difficult it can be to keep marvel secrets under wraps. That’s my guess about why he insisted on having the Qs ahead of time. Could also be completely unrelated 🤔

To be honest, I think the more famous someone is the ego is bigger. And thats kinda human. Which is sad. And some people like Tom Cruise can rise above it… The older Stars have a bit more grace, probably of the more strict upbringing they had than now a days… maybe

He`s had Hugh Jackman on his couch many times and he seems the most sweet genuine guy.Ryan seems definitely better on his own (or with Hugh ,maybe the thoughtfulness rubs off?:)..Anyhow ,thankyou for keeping me entertained during the long nights when i`m unable to sleep.xx
So happy you enjoyed it.
@@Flaawsometalk I`m enjoying everything you`ve posted:)x
Ahah! Good ol' Nelson. His entertainment report was always the bright spot of Aus morning television for me. I always wanted the show to hurry up and get to his segment 😂
aww
It would be amazing to see you on the red carpets on the upcoming awards season - any chance that will happen?
He seems like a hoot! Heading to buy his books! Thanks for this interview.
Oh thank you! I hope you'll find them page turners!!
Brilliant LOVED THIS. what an interesting guy. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for watching!
Blake Lively again, just not a good look...too much of an ego in several instances over the years. Learned today once again about the importance of respect, dignity and professionalism ❤ it should not be that hard.
I'm kind of sick of her.....
@@laurenm6511
There is no "kinda" for me. I can't stand her. And now that includes her husband.
I’ve had the worst day in the world when my husband told me he didn’t love me anymore. I still treated everyone I encountered that day with kindness and respect. No excuse ever. Sure celebrities have bad days, but us mere mortals treat people beautifully when our world is falling apart
Nelson, you are the best!
Loved your stories.
❤❤❤😊
He is sooo professional and so much fun at the same time! Loved this interview! Thank you Kjersti! 🤍 And thank you Nelson! 🤍
Thank you!!
I’m so excited to read Nelson’s book! Dancing between the raindrops!!
Yay!! I hope you will love them!! (They’re naughty 🔥)
You are also a celebrity kjserti flaa
ha ha
@@Flaawsometalkno need to be humble. I have been watching your interview from the last 6 years and you are inspirational
@@BollywoodMemories4ever aww, thank you!!
Y’all make the BEST duo! Bring him back!
Hugh Jackman is the best
Thanks again for having me on for a chat! So much fun to look back on " the good, the bad and the ugly!" Let me know how you like the "Dancing Between the Raindrops" novels, too! xxx
So fun interview 😂
Ryan Reynolds, my opinion, kind of comes off as a snob...or that he thinks he is all that.
He has anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem issues.
Ryan Gosling is such a far better actor and it's not even close, he also seems a lot more genuine
Can hardly wait for Kjersti's autobiography 🙂
Awww. I will get to it one day.
@@Flaawsometalk That would be amazing!x
Celebrities are simply human beings like the rest of us. Sometimes, we all just don’t feel like smiling and being nice. 🤷♂️ The important thing is to apologize, afterwards.
I am an introvert to the extreme so while I have obstacles in social situations, I have never had one encounter where I wasn’t ready to smile and be nice to someone. Unless they do or say something really nasty that was unwarranted, I can’t imagine having such an awful disposition toward someone who is at no fault, no matter what kind of day I’ve had prior. No wonder people think I’m weird 😂.
@@Gina-Montana
Exactly.
@@GwenMotoGirl congratulations on your well-deserved retirement! 🎉
I hate being scolded too, pet peeve of mine lol just talk to me normally I'm probably more apt to understand what the problem is 😂 this was fantastic, your guest was a riot! ❤
Love Nelson what a great video you two together so funny, very enjoyable, big thanks xxx
This was so interesting, would love a part two 😊!
This was so fun!
Had so much fun watching this video!!
So happy to hear that
Nelson seems so fun!!!
Wow, the red carpet sounds brutal💋
Check out the books for more behind the scenes stories!! I hope you’ll love ‘em!❤
I like how Nelson said we have to remember celebrities can have a bad day
Nelson is right if they dont want to do it they should have it in their contract otherwise suck it up
I like how Nelson described hugh jackman and tom cruise
What a fascinating man. Great video
So happy you enjoyed it
Nelson Aspen is the best
Awww shucks, thank you! ❤
I doubt Tom Cruise would be so friendly and polite if he was asked about fish tok
or the abuse of the Scientology church!
LOL!😆 I’m
😂😂😂
Yeah, I think you are right
Fun interview!
These are really good. Keep going.
@SHAWNEESKYWALKER i just don't see asking for questions before interview as rude. 🤷🏼♀️
Also can’t people have a bad day? I’m sure on our worst days we hope there isn’t someone talking about it on UA-cam…..
ryan reynolds seems very extroverted and wanting to be class clown type
15:45 Robert De Niro is on the spectrum, and has a child who is non verbal autistic.
That makes sense actually
@@Flaawsometalk I appreciate your constant open-mindedness. It’s such a valuable trait for any human being to have…even more so, a journalist!
I get the age thing that they dont want to acknowledge it in public. I think a lot of companies / industries can be unconsciously ageist. I’m not a celebrity but in my industry I try and keep age a low profile as people make judgements about when people are going to stop working.
I think a lot of companies/industries are openly ageist!
Don't ask Tom Cruise if Nicole was the love of his life!
Fasinating interview. I admit, your title grabbed me because everyone is talking about the "celebrity dirty list." Was that on purpose?
🤣
Where are they talking about the “celebrity dirty list?” Thanks.
It is well known that Paul Rudd doesn’t age but I think whenever he is on talk shows talking about sexiest man alive and age stuff like that I think he is truly bothered maybe he doesn’t like getting older or he hates the way he looks or he feels insecure with his body which is fair and considering how so many hosts and fans talk about that with him I’d imagine he gets sick of it and has a breaking point I would too
I think he prpbably isn't interested in talking about shallpw stuff and just wants to play that video of the aloen going over the cliff in the shopping cart
He dosnt have an Aussie accent? So is it true that you have to take classes about Scientology to interview Tom Cruise?
No, that isn’t true. I never had to jump through any unusual hoops to interview Tom either 1:1 or on a red carpet.
Yes, my boyfriend had to take a class ones. Many years ago. So bananas!!
Magnus did!! They set up tents for them to walk through with information about scientology before meeting him.
@@ScottyColoradoKid Au contraire, I was a child actor but Showbiz had other plans for me. You have to read my books to find out the whole, kooky story. It's been a wonderful, wild ride!
@@Flaawsometalk HA I knew it! There is an interview where the journalist calls him out on it during the interview! Tom said 'well you had a choice" and the journalist says 'not if I wanted to be sitting here interviewing you".....guess that was the last interview he had with Tom LOL
The Pop Star has to be Madonna or maybe Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus during their wild years..
Immediately thought Madonna
@@JoyJoy-sc1ov if it was lady gaga or miley cyrus I wouldn't have minded as much but madonna, yikes, no thanks, no one wants to see that
based on their description of Robert Deniro it seems he is in spectrum
I have never thought about that, but I think you are right.
Ooohhh, Britney Spears? 😬😬 Or maybe Madonna? 😬😬
I have to read Nelson`s books now ,what a fascinating gentleman. I think i`d like to ask him (as i did you) ,if there`s anyone he`s missed who he`d love to interview ,then or now ,and if he ever had a crush and interviewed them?:)

10:56 so funny he says Watergate, the first movie I remember Ryan Reynolds in was D1ck (trying to keep my comment from being deleted lol I didn't name the movie) with Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams omg that movie is burned in my memory 😅
Edit: if y'all haven't seen it is was about Richard Nixons Watergate scandal, sort of, its more about his dog Checkers and his two dogwalkers 😊
My favorite myth about deep throat. 😊😊
I love Tom Cruise!
To be honest, I think the more famous someone is the ego is bigger. And thats kinda human. Which is sad. And some people like Tom Cruise can rise above it…
The older Stars have a bit more grace, probably of the more strict upbringing they had than now a days… maybe

10:08 and he got well not a not better wife 😂😂😂😂
P.S. i guess if you ask Tom about Scientology, Danny Masterson, Katie and Suri or Nicole… he wouldn’t be Mr. Nice
I get the feeling that other actors don’t like doing interviews with other actors. Because it’s way too much ego in the room. I could be wrong.
I think you are right
