Orly, I just wanted to thank you! I am a Fashion Management student here in India so I gotta dress trendy, and we don't have any UA-camrs here like you that show such detailed information. I love the fact that it's Detatchable and you accounted for fabric movement. Oh and also, it's sustainable to switch out collars and not buy new jackets! Genius!
I really am so dumbfounded how you don’t have millions of subscribers you’re so amazingly talented and beautiful! Your personality shines through! It will happen tho!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@OrlysChannel Oh wow! Thank you for answering! I sent you an Insta DM a couple of weeks ago about your slipper video inspiring my own! Hope you got it!?
I love this idea. Your makes are so inspiring! There are a few things to keep in mind. Because the magnets are so strong, folks with pacemakers and medical devices should probably check with their doctor just to be sure it’s safe, especially because with a collar, the magnet could be very close to the chest area.
This is perfect.!! I just made myself a cape style jacket and was really regretting not adding a collar. The fur collar will be a nice touch. Thank you for the tutorial
Brilliant. Did this many years ago with an olive/ army green jacket. I used animal print fur and had sewed it on the plane to my DC destination lol. Now DC is in a mess thanks to 45. Brilliant that it's removable. My fave is the green, very Lux.
Well, let me just say that I am thinking 2021 had begun with a homerun! This is ingenious. I'm in Canada, Northern Ontario to be exact, where it's cold/cool 75% of the year, i wear a coat or jacket more than I don't--this idea makes it easy to re-configure your coat simply, so as not to get bored, to be able change 'er up according to your outfit d'jour! I'm never disappointed, always looking forward to your next. Happy New Year Orly, you rock!
Love this! I did a restyle of a red leather jacket for one of my clients. He brought me the jacket.....a picture of what he wanted.....and fur. I really enjoyed creating his vision for him. And yes.......I used a razor to cut all my lines.......after making the finest of cuts......gently tug on both sides away from each other.......perfect edges while still maintaining the affect of fur on the right side of the textile! Looking forward to more ideas from you in 2021......... 🥰
Thanks for the tips on magnets. I didn't know. Somehow the looks were not comparable to what I want but you showed me how to do what I want. Thanks again.
I have always wanted fur collar and cuffs on my winter coats but can't justify the expense for a coat I probably wouldn't wear very often. This is a dynamite idea! Thank you for making my fur fmdreams come true!
The magnets are brilliant! I lined a trucker's jacket with a tiger-print sweater, used the sleeves as no-sew cuffs, and added a fox scarf for the collar. Wanted to post a pic but didn't see how to do that.
You're so binge-able Orly!! So, today I give you my gift of watch time cause I love ya! Consists of putting it on mute when I get a call or need it quiet in here, and just listening to you work in the backround while I clean today. It's an Orly marathon in this house today!!💜
Hi Orly, you are my Friday evening treat here in the UK. I like to lie in the bath watch your new video and get inspired. You have been such an inspiration during this last year. Thank you so much and please keep up the great work.
Just last week, I watched your old video about this...so genius! I added faux fur trim to a coat I made but just basted it on temporarily until I got the magnets, so this video timing is freakin perfect!
Love what you’re doing with faux fur. I’m in my sixties and I can still pull these outfits off!! I also love winter fashion with all its layers and clunkiness. 😊
Hello orly I started following you from Canada absolutely absolutely love your videos and I think you are extremely talented I am really excited all week for Friday to see your video ; I love the way you do your video s not to much talking and not too long your quick fast get to the point not boring like some other people videos , you are brilliant and amazing ,all the love from Canada ( Muskoka) Sami O’Connor
I watch your videos every week & often buy the stuff but I usually get sidetracked & don't exactly finish the project... But it has kept me busy during the stay at home order. But I finally completed one & I love it. I couldn't find the material that you used with a thick backing so mine made a mess when I cut it but it's super soft & cozy so I'm happy!
What a wonderful Orly idea!💡I wondered why you didn't use glue instead of sewing the edges of the collars? 🤔 ...and now more than ever you need to use the lint rollers for fabrics!!! 🤣😜 Good job girl! ✨
OMG!!! It took a year to find someone who understands me..... Detachable and interchangeable, Thank you 💗
The green one is stunning. BTW I live on a tropical island but I still want to wear this. Sigh.
Then u can do the same on a sheer kimono dress 🙈😍👍
Go for it! Wear it anyway! I wear faux leather jackets in the scorching hot sun in Malaysia 🇲🇾😂😂😂

Great idea! I just bought a pattern for a cape coat and like the look of both with and without a furry collar - now I can do both.
Brilliant. Did this many years ago with an olive/ army green jacket. I used animal print fur and had sewed it on the plane to my DC destination lol. Now DC is in a mess thanks to 45. Brilliant that it's removable. My fave is the green, very Lux.

The green and black is my favorite. So gorgeous. Well done! Thanks for sharing
Green Green Green! Love it 💚💚💚
Great idea to make it detachable so it's versatile! That's always a fear of mine to change something I love the way it is. 2 for 1's are the best!
Glad it was helpful!
Well done again another video demonstrating your craftmanship. 😘👍🏼💃
Love what you’re doing with faux fur. I’m in my sixties and I can still pull these outfits off!! I also love winter fashion with all its layers and clunkiness. 😊

Absolutely love these! So happy they can be done without a sewing machine.
They are so gorgeous! Can’t wait for our fabric shops to open such a good DIY..what would we do without you! ❤️❤️

I need a cuter photo before I can post it anywhere. I can't figure out how to add a photo in the comments.
Loved the green one.
Have you ever heard the song ' can't get enough of you babe ' ? You are too good to be true ! Luv ya. 💋
haha xoxoxo
Thanks so much! I love faux fur collars, cuffs, coats and vests!
I have old maxi sweater dresses I’m not wearing. Can you do a DIY on how to make a maxi cardigan or duster as they call them?
Just what we need in the UK at the moment, love all of them and loving your hair
18:30 maybe you need more than just 2 . add magnet at the ends because when you twirled it looked detached
Will be making this! Love that it isn't permanent.
I'd be tempted on trying it with my winter boots too
Only just found you and so glad I have, you are just fabulous and so inspiring 🌸🙌
Omg simple splendid girl! Just loved this and you look so good modeling your new creations!!!! I want the green one! 💗
Thank you so much!!
Fall in love with your work ♥️
I was just planning this with faux fur collar. Now it will be even faster.
I like a faux fur hem on the bottom, too!

What a wonderful Orly idea!💡I wondered why you didn't use glue instead of sewing the edges of the collars? 🤔 ...and now more than ever you need to use the lint rollers for fabrics!!! 🤣😜 Good job girl! ✨
