- Опубліковано 4 сер 2024
- Take the plunge and cook this ridiculously hot naga phall. If you can get past the heat, which builds, in the mouth it actually tastes nice and fruity. Good luck. Al

Please please press the like and Subscribe button, it really helps the channel like you wouldn't believe. It's UA-cam technical stuff. Cheers and the beers are on me. Al
looks amazing but to hot for me im afraid lol. Al could you do onion bhajis again, followed your reciepe everytime BUT mine are always stodgy inside , lovely taste but not quite there yet PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
keep repping amazon you could get al these spices from the local grocery
@@paulhare7938 Not Mr Naga
@@AlsKitchen sry man i love your blogs its just amazon is getiing to much but your cooking a+++ and inspiring
@@paulhare7938 If I don't provide links to products I just get 100s of email asking. So it fixed this issue. Thanks for watching 😊
Al, just made this exactly to your recipe and it is wonderful. The heat builds and then reaches a crescendo and just fades away. No drink needed to calm things and leaves a wonderful taste 😌 in your mouth 😋.
Won't be the last time I make this. Thanks Al.
You know you've got a hot curry if you need to bring in a stuntman for the taste-test!
I would have done this for him in a heartbeat! There's only one curry house I know that does this dish amazingly and unfortunately it's my old hometown so I only ever get to order it when I'm visiting my mother. We all know how great Al is at his curries, so I would LOVE to try his version of this!
I made the Pathia last night with a fresh Naga chilli and two table spoons of extra hot curry powder. Couldn’t stop coughing while I was cooking it my wife was going nutts 🤣! But OMG the taste, your putting all the local curry houses out of business, surprised they’re not lobbying UA-cam to have you taken down. Thanks Al, another banger!
Great video Al, such deadpan delivery too - I laughed my head off when you tasted it. Definite new subscriber!
Making this one tomorrow just received your mixed powder love the videos thanks gave me a new found hobby and inspiration love it al 👍
Brilliant as usual...nice one John !
Great video Al! very entertaining!!
Good man Al ! One of the best Curry-UA-camrs.
I absolutely LOVE phaal , best curry of them all in my opinion. Yours looks amazing and I'd love to have tried it
The algorithm gives me a belter for a change. Subscribed. Looking forward to more content Al.
That was really entertaining and amusing. I'll be giving that a go for sure.
Loved this mate, subbed & liked 👍
I would love to try this. Great stuff
This looks amazing. I’m glad you popped up on recommendations 🤟🏻
Glad you enjoyed!
Love the channel. It's a banger!👍. Not sure I'll be making this curry though
YES! A proper curry. I just made a new base gravy last weekend. This is next for me, I love a hot curry. It's a bit of a shock that Al can't handle his!!
Cheers mate!! Love your recipe and Im drinking a beer right now watching the show. I will definitely try try this!❤
Nice to see Als got the perfect draft on the go! Perfect accompaniment to a good curry
Love your reaction at the end! 😂😂 think I’ll pass on this one lol
Al, really enjoyed watching this. Done your garlic chilli last week. I'll be making this tomorrow.
Absolutely the best Taste Test ever! I've literally had to wipe the tears away to type this! Still can't stop laughing! " What was I thinking? " LMFAO!
My eyes are watering from laughing as much as if I had tried a ‘lump of chicken with some gravy’. Great video mate. Will defo be trying that one.
You make it look easy Al,keep up the great work mate love your channel👍
Thanks 👍
Have now made this dish twice, the first time didn't have naga pickle so used a half a dried naga chopped up and the curry was really good lots of heat and nice flavor.
Made it again last night using mr naga and also chucked in the other half of the dried naga.
My Wife had a phall from our usual take out so we were able to do a real taste comparison.
The take out was hot but had a bitter flavor where as Al's was hot but had a much richer flavor.
An excellent curry which will now be a regular on our home menu (but I really suffered this morning!!)
Thanks Al, great channel.
Perfect I always have my curries phal hot will definitely try this recipe, other restaurant variations are Ceylonese and Tindaloo from restaurants in Derby and Sheffield many thanks Al brilliant channel.
It was so spicy, my hangover fled in terror. 10/10.
Thank you, Al's Kitchen. This looks like a real ring-stinger! Arse graft on standby! Also ordered myself the same pan. Watch this space...
I always have a Phal...... Gorgeous, thoroughly enjoy them!!! Can't wait to try this recipe 😻
Nice one, first vid I've seen from you think I'll be subscribing. My fave curry I've been having recently is a chicken chettinad 👌
First time watching your channel and WOW I'm in, love spice and will be making this.
Hope you enjoy and welcome
Made this with some Costco large prawns and it was the best homemade curry I've ever tasted. As good as my local takeaway, thanks AL, now curry is an option not just once a week😀
I love a hot curry! Got to try it as it looks amazing! Often have naga chilli chicken from the restaurant I use but yours looks better! Well done for trying it!!!! Nice one Al. Keep the videos coming.
Lmao this is the best video ever!! It looks absolutely amazing but I will leave this one to my mental mates!!
Madras is my kind of perfect heat, nice with a bottle of hob goblin beer 🍺 cheers Al, please don't die from making ridiculously hot food x lol
That's so funny, great vid
My mouth is watering watching this. Lamb phal is my go to curry every wkend, can’t get it hot enough. Definitely going to make this as I also love naga. 🤤
Haha! Your mate John didn’t miss a beat! Superb! 😂
he loves a hot one
This is your best video ever fella!
Been waiting for this
Loved it haha I'm a fool to myself sometimes, I will enjoy the hottest curry anyone can make then suffer for 3 days! Just subbed to the channel absolutely hilarious!!
Superb Al! Really funny and I can’t wait to try it. Used to eat Phall when I was younger. I’ll need to put the loo roll in the fridge though! 😂 🌋
“I’ve lost my fertility “ 🤣🤣🤣😅
Personally, I wouldn’t go hotter than a Vindaloo, for me, the heat kills the flavour
Another very entertaining clip
Have a great weekend Al 👍🏻
Al lad, you are now my official BIR curry tutor!
Did this tonight, it was beltin' (using your base gravy and mix powder now also) - to be honest, I'll probably bump up the chili and naga, as stupid as that sounds. But top marks man, loved it.
Thank you, Al’s kitchen, for helping me sort out my deep pan order from Baa’s House. I adapted your recipe and used it to make a ‘Carolina, Chili, Chicken, Tikka, Naga, Phall.’ I substituted the tomato puree with Carolina Reaper tomato paste and also added chopped finger chilies as a garnish, just for a little extra kick! I then tested the recipe on several family members who I haven’t seen or heard from since. On the plus side, I did get to make full use of my new set of rods for the drains! All credit and responsibility went to, Al, of course. ;-)
You goddamn sick individual 😅
Keep up the great work Al
My mum would love this. She a bit crazy when it comes to curry. I’ll have to make this for her.
Fantastic bit of video, interesting and amusing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Loved the fact that there was an ad during it for heart burn tablets .....bog roll soaked in milk for the other end..... 💍of 🔥
lol, thats funny
🤣
A bog roll in the fridge from the night before to cure the fiery freckle
Very testy love it 10/10 thank you
Looool so funny at the end, John is a legend! I would make this but my mrs would make me sleep in the spare room for 2 days
Al... I have so much love for your sense of humour. Keep up the cracking work, please :-D
"Engagement ring, wedding ring, hot ring, suffer-ringgg" Ha, excellent vid, love this one Al, some great laughs here too. No way could I try that one. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it. was fun making it too
Lol, this was also my favourite phrase!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🥵🥵🥵🥵🤣🤣 brilliant Al. Good on ya for making it anyway I'm sure there's a few out there that can take such heat. I tried phall once ,well, a bit of the sauce on the tip of me knife.wow!!!! never again! 🤯
That curry must be so hot it kills Covid 19, which makes it perfectly safe to invite visitors round. 😂
Any curry is good for flu or cold.
That’s so funny 😂great cooking
😂😂😂love this one Al, love your reaction, you really took one for the team😂😂😂
Thanks for watching
Made my day, couldn't stop laughing... you deserve a medal Al
lol glad it entertained you
Really nice to know how to make phall as I order it extra hot from my restaurant all the time. Al a slice of lemon also goes well in a cold wheat beer!
Al your editign is on point
Lol! That's the way I do my weekend cooking....with the "Cookie beer" by my side!! CHEERS!!
Al you are a braver man than me for sure. Kudos to you sir!
Hilarious. Did look very tasty mind. Love phal curries
Hilarious video Al!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your curry’s always look amazing 🤩
Copied the exact recipe and technique, it was very, very aromatic and tasty, will definitely try more of Al's recipes.
🏆🏆🥇🥇🏆🏆 You, Al, have won the ‘Balls Of Steel’ award. 👏 Bravo 😮😂😂
Thanks lol
From the spices to the gravy base, it is worth giving a sub. He did his research haha
First time I have seen your videos , you are so funny , food looks good too
Looks really good that making my mouth water 🤤
This is brilliant, i defo wont be trying it, but i know a friend that would 😂😁❤
Great video 👍
Hahaha! Loved that video, true dedication that, inflicting pain on yourself for your audience! Made me laugh anyway, don't think Mrs H will want that one made in a hurry tho....🤣
Loved it ...subscribed.
Gonna do this for a mate of mine brilliant loved it
Wicked Al love that you have a taster for special hot dishes 😀
Not doing this one Al, but had a look again at your chicken pathia, I'm drooling over it, tomorrow's dinner, thanks Al.
As curries go, that looks incredible!
Great video Al, dont think I dare try it though!
It's a foul, its hot, naga lol so funny al! Brilliant video
Right up my street Al, I'll be doing this tomorrow
Lol Watched this and the ending with you tasting it Al, brought tears to my eyes laughing 🤣🤣 First time I had a Phaal it was a bet with a friend. I ate the darn thing but so glad I was off work the next day. As felt like I had slid down the bannisters of a staircase on a razor blade! Have only ever had one more since! Love the recipes and the videos and so glad I discovered the channel.
Glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely bloody brilliant video. Informative, entertaining, and looks amazing. I've got a 4 Pint of Milk on standby. More please.!
Aw thanks Alan. lol
This has made my Friday night, but don't think i will be cooking it 🤣🤣😂
Thanks Al! Top class!
Funniest vid I’ve watched all week 🥳🥳🥳 Think I’ll leave out all the chilli powder & all the naga chilli paste 🥸
looks amazing!!
Hi Al, maybe I won't go for the phal - prefer flavour over heat to be honest. Anyhoo....... Tried out your Patia recipe on Saturday night................absolutely amazing - balanced flavour and heat combo was immense. Whole family loved it. Didn't risk making my own nan bread so got 4 from local restaurant. Made pilau special rice as well - fab. Finally tried out a new keg for my Perfect Draught - German one from Munich - Spaten - big thumbs up and we all agreed is a great, rounded lager to have with curries.. Keep up the great work mate.
Jon is a machine. Loved your reaction. I often order Phall’s, but I have to be in the right mood for it 🌶 it’s never easy, but the rush after is awesome, followed by some mint ice cream 😜
You do have to be in the mood and there’s nothing like the chilli hit
Sugar is the the best thing 😏
Naga does impart a beautiful, earthy flavour along with the heat...Top tip. Have a glass of Lassi on standby. Easy to make and does the job better than milk. Cheers, Al.
lovely looking curry mate, given me new ideas on how I prepare my curries, I have always drank lager but find myself swigging back pints of Youngs London Stout on Draft, really nice
Keep cooking pal. Good luck
Great video Al! When you'd put it in the balti dish I thought when you opened the fridge it was for a bog roll 😅
Subbed after the intro Ahahaha!
Just seen your channel for the first time. Was a pleasure 😂 get on the crafts aswell buddy
I had a Phall when I was 18. Even the waiter tried to talk me out of it but I was too stubborn to listen. I ate the whole thing, but was still feeling the effects a week later. Proud to say I've eaten one, but wont do it again :)
That looks awesome
LOL. You rock man!
Absolutely outstanding as usuall, nice and fiery with plenty of flavour as well 👍👍👍👍
Gosh you made it already Scott, in a score of 1-100 how hot would you rate the recipe.... I’m trying to work out how much I need to scale it down as I think too hot for me but would love to try for the flavours
@@ovaltini99 for me about 80 I'd be happy to make it hotter 🤣🤣🔥🔥
Love it; "dew-piler".
I'm here in Holland and can confirm it's pronounced "yew-pil-la".
That'd be the Dutch way of pronouncing it, but it's originally from a French speaking region of Belgium. So both of those pronunciations would be technically incorrect. Depends on how pedantic you want to be I suppose.
Looks superb pretty sure me and the team will be up for this.
Before I started making my own curries, with your help, I used to order Phaal EXTRA hot from my local takeaway. Brave Man they called me. But I loved it. Getting old and more sophisticated now though. Love your recipes.
If you get more constipated just start ordering the phaal again!
I had to like this at 2:59, hilarious!! before seeing it through to the end.
