Yeah that's a fact. I can't ignore the fact that they won't be able to maintain that lifestyle anymore. But, particularly, I really think they could've maintained a Ride The Lightning/Master of Puppets kind of sound. I'm not saying that Black Album, for example, is bad, but it's mostly not thrash. I would appreciate them much more if they continued with that earlier sound. The 2 albums I said are thrash, but a "growth" one. So I see getting old but keeping "original" as a possible way.
hmm i dont know i like his new voice, its not the same as the old metallica voice, of course. But then metallica isnt the pissed of, angry, big ego metallica anymore either. They have grown up they have become family men and they have changed wich is fine with me i hate when a band never changes it gets borring to listen to the same over and over again.
