We should have a careful boys (and kalyne) movie review episode every so often. The Barbie movie felt like a non-parody parody. A pandemic happened, touring previews of the movie at colleges were cancelled, and studios didn't pick it up.
We should have a careful boys (and kalyne) movie review episode every so often. The Barbie movie felt like a non-parody parody. Barbie world is obviously oppressive towards the male dolls but I think the movie tries to wash their hands from that message by implying the real character development is Barbie accepting the complexities of life (and cellulite + aging) and Ken accepting that his image should not be based around having a romantic relationship with her.
I LOVE STEVE HES THE SMARTEST ONBE THERE LOLOLOL
I watched both Movies, I loved Oppenheimer, it definitely didn't feel like 3 hours at all. Love Kalyne, love the guys, great episode. Here, you can't get dropped off as a teen anymore. There's too many problems. The theater experience is not what it used to be. I am obsessed with Found Footage films though. Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity all those were amazing!
What do you guys think, If there was a movie like Barbie but the roles were reversed where it promoted men and devalued women, would Hollywood even allow it?
That happens in real life. Just go outside or look up laws.
Nope? The movie industry isn’t a total wreck all because them Movie Directors are creators that have The Mind of a Genius (nerds).
Steve caught me playing games while listening to JK wtf

Too many superhero movies. Overall mcu since endgame is convoluted.
If steve likes absurdist then he should watch Beau is Afraid! A24 film, same director as Black Swan & Joaquin Phoenix stars
Look at Nick all shrunk up, this convo sounds sooo elitist lol
I really did not like Barbie. I grew up playing Barbie’s - the whole thang. I personally think they should had played it down on the feminist stuff. I wanted to see more of how Barbie world works and all that. I HATED the random musical snips - and i like musicals 😫
