- This DIY entryway makeover is renter friendly and budget friendly. This entryway makeover includes a DIY bench and a DIY entryway shelf with hooks. I hope this provides you lots of ideas for small entryway decor! This entryway makeover is perfect if you have no coat closet and need some ideas for entryway storage. You should have some cheap door mats on the self where you put the shoes so you don't destroy the self with dirty shoes. IKEA has some really good ones

Absolutely adore your entryway. As a suggestion, you may want to put something under the shoes in the cabinet so it doesn't scuff up the wood (or get it continuously wet during the winter). Lesson I learned a few years back. The pieces are super cute!
I am blown away at the difference and how beautiful it looks!!!! And using two stains to get the exact color you wanted on the bench was genius! I love it so much!!!

I made that same bench. I added hooks as well above it. I put mine in a little area by my garage door and I absolutely love it. I painted mine white with a gray stain for the seating part. I love yours so beautiful. Thank you for sharing today.

I LOVED this ! you have such a great eye and I love how strong you are and how you set such a beautiful example for your son... he's growing up knowing that women are powerful :) I have a 5 year old daughter and yesterday I put a table together and she said "wow mommy, you are so strong!" and it meant the world to me. GREAT job from a Baby Boomer who has always loved to decorate....and have done a lot of projects myself I've done things for other people even to the point of like completely picking up their sofas and chairs lamps to carpet to flower arrangements silk and real flowers treats t-shirts I've done a couple of weddings this is in my lifetime just for friends and family and myself and I just say you did a great job and it's really cool that your dad helped you!!

Those little bins are the best for masks! Thats where you put all the clean ones so we know they are clean. Love how it all turned out.
You could probably put a tiny jar candle in the small bin to burn while you’re home & make the space feel a small bit more cozy! 😍

I use the small Ikea basket for my hair pins or my elastic hair bands since I get in my house and put my hair up.

Amazing! Love the look. Thought I'd give a little tip with the cats... My boyfriend and I are moving in together and will have 4 cats and 2 ferrets along with a dog, 6 sugar gliders and a 6 foot snake... Anyway... I've been doing research on litter and found a 40lb bag of pine bedding (aka pine litter) at tractor supply for less than $6. What I love about wood pellets is no smell, easy clean up and it doesn't get tracked everywhere. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Thank you for sharing!!

You can take an area rug to the car wash where you spray the mats. Love the rug and the makeover. Beautiful.
I'd put the litter box someplace like behind the couch (personally we have always kept ours in bathroom). That way you don't have to worry about guests entering into a smell.

Nice job! One suggestion would be to turn the seam of the lamp so you can’t see it when you walk in, it should be towards the back, a small detail that makes a finished look :)

The best thing to get is a shoe rack so there is no shoe mess and a small table or place to hang keys/bangs/coats IMO.
