HOW HAD I NEVER HEARD OF THIS SONG UNTIL TONIGHT?? Seriously, this is amazing. Shows how Razorblade Romance could have had a much darker, grittier sound while still sounding like Razorblade Romance. Interesting to see what got reworked into other songs too. Obviously some of the lines ended up in Death Is In Love With Us, and the opening keyboard part sounds a lot like the keyboards in Pretending. Now I'm gonna have to hunt down the rest of these demo tracks, if only to see if they measure up to this awesome song.
This song is amazing!! I’m surprised it didn’t get reworked into a more glistening version for the album or at least became something else. Just surprised this is where this song was left at as it’s so perfect and hits so differently listening to it now 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Thank you Ville, thank you HIM 🤘🏻
Tbh RR only got more raw in production as it went along. Less keyboards and Gas Lipstick on the drums stopped their 80s style "overproduction" in it's tracks
