Okay. I'll admit, I know nothing about Jackly. Zero. That being said, when I watch this video, I get a huge smile on my face. It's this nasty, glorious trainwreck of middle-aged 80's rock... but, it has something that seems to be lacking in most contemporary rock releases. What IS it? It's a down and dirty rock and roll mess. Love it!
Jimi Hendrix had that. Back in the day, he couldn't find a left handed stratocaster, so he used a right hand one. It made a great out-of phase sound cause the high e string was where the low e was and so on. It just reversed all the strings !
@@christophersprague718: Gee Christopher, I would've never known Jimi flipped a Strat upside down...Everyone knows that, but Jimi didn't have a reverse Tele neck/ headstock...That was really my point...It's identical to Joe Perry's...
@@if6turnedouttobe9 Noted : the guitar neck is inverted. But if you look at the body, the upper cutaway is positioned down. He's actually playing a lefthand guitar righthanded. It's the look he's going for as you probably know.
@@christophersprague718: It's not man...This dudes guitar is made as a reverse body...The controls and whammy bar are on the bottom...like it should be...not on top like Jimi's...anyway, I just made a comment about Perry's guitar...I wasn't trying to make a federal case out of it...
I hope the new cd contains a rarity like Take A Piece Of Me. That song is awesome. Also would have loved to hear Jackyl's version of I Love It Loud that was going to go on Kiss My Ass Tribute CD in 94 and The Ballad of Jed Clampett for Beverly Hillbillies. Two things that should have happened that would have made both way better. But not Jackyl's fault.
Guys, this song & video are brilliant! Always a great day when listening to new Jackyl, and 30 years later it hasn't changed - it's still a super treat.. Also I love when you show your funk influences as you have in other Jackyl songs and on Foot Fetish. Lastly - I beg you to share the story of Mr. Worley's crazy blue tele w/the Joe Perry-style reverse headstock! Did he build it himself? I see the Worley the Pirate logo on the neck, but the headstock looks like it says "Lucky Day"? I'm dying to know the story behind it. (B/c of him, I bought a sweet Dean Thorougbred, I love it - though mine doesn't have the crazy EMG pickups or the Floyd Rose). Thanks in advance if you can let us know!
When you hear this man's voice, you know right away who it is. Great rock & roll voice. Rock on, Jesse.

Saw them when they were on their Guinness record breaking concert streak . In Columbus Ga. Gave this Infantryman (at the time) a well needed break. Outstanding concert.
That was great. 🙏 Miss Full Throttle Saloon the tv show.
these guys still around???? i remember when they came out with their first album, they had a disclaimer on the cd cover that read something along the lines of "no pussy ass keyboards" lol
That debut record rocks from start to finish!
Bon Jovi reference?
@@Dave-Rough-Diamond-Dunn yeah bon jovi, def leppard, and many others of the era
Love it!
Way to go Jackyl. Another great song. Turn the volume up to 11 on this one
Guitar player got the Joe Perry reverse Strat/ Telecaster head stock workin'...Love it and love the song...
@@if6turnedouttobe9 Didn't notice the position of the controls. I stand corrected. Apologies.
Damn I needed that. Jackyl still just kicking the crap out of it.
CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE THE NEW RECORD FROM THIS GUY'S ALWAYS KICK SOME ASSES!!
Saw them in Georgia on a tractor trailer in Kmart parking lot in the 80’s
Jackyl is the shit, keep rocking, from your brothers in Kennesaw Georgia
Great tune, just have to say, bass player is doing the best Chip Z'Nuff since 1991.
Jackyl rocks! Definition of a good time. We all need it right now!✌
🍻🍻🍻
Just another distraction chief. We about to go off the cliff. We need to be organizing and fixing things instead of listening to music.
Y'all just get better and better with age, I swear! Love the new song!
Great wedding reception tune!!!
I always wanted to hear their I Love it Loud too. I get that KISS selected bands that weren't kick ass Rockers, but most of that cd was shite.
@@shaunclifton5281 yep. They left off Pantera doing cold gin, Megadeth doing Detroit rock city. And countless others.
Nice job 👏 👍 👌 😀 ❤ 🤘!!! Great tune 🎶 !!! No chainsaw needed!! 😉
ABSOLUTELY LOVE JACKYL!!! SEEN EM 20 OR MORE TIMES!!! DOWN ON ME!!! ROCK ON!! GOD BLESS EM!!
