Great room review! Thank you for explaining the special needs department and mousekeeping differences.
I typically like a soft mattress but I've noticed that after a long disney park day I rather enjoy the firm mattress more haha! Keep up the great content.

Thanks! I almost cut that part out because I was worried the video was too long. I’m glad it was helpful!
It’s so funny how a day at Disney can be so fun and so exhausting at the same time! It’s a good thing they have good mattresses. Otherwise, we might not be able to go back the next day!

Really appreciate you both being so thorough with these reviews. A shame the push pad for the balcony didn't work, seems like something easy to check between stays, usually just needs a battery change.

Thank you for the kind words.
As for the door, in fairness to the resort, we never got around to asking them to look at it. If we had, I feel like they would have been responsive based on the rest of our experience. We also forgot to report it when we left. In hindsight I really wish we had mentioned it to help the next people. But you know how it is when you are rushing out the door at the end of a stay.

Did you ever get the door fixed for the balcony? If traveling solo, will they come and pull the bed down? The pillows will be a small nightmare to grab down... i would have to call housekeeping! Tgat room is suoer tight for a wheelchair user... love the resort but i think pop is a better bang for the buck. Plus, much better wheelchair friendly...i will might consider if i have a short stay. Long stay will drive me nuts!

If we weren’t DVC members we wouldn’t do that room. But yes, you can ask housekeeping to pull down the bed and grab the pillows.
We forgot to report the broken door, so I don’t know if it got fixed. We only used the balcony once, to watch fireworks.
