James, not going to lie: I’ve always loved your content and the decks you make, and if I could afford this deck, I’d play it in a second. No Minion Mage is probably my fave way to play the game and I wish I had the game sense to really make it work. Oh, and, comments help with engagement and such. Love you, dude.
My favorite thing about cthuun the shattered in mage is that the sidequest elemental allies (draw 3 spells from your deck) can draw you the cthuun pieces as they count as spells im loving this interaction. Paired with loremaster polket its really fun

Glad to see an initial build for spell mage, I spent all last season messing around with tuning a version of the deck using a quest and I've been hyped to try and slot Cthun in ever since he was spoiled. Over all looks like a lot of fun.
I love how all it took for people to start commenting was Firebat and Ed just casually and openly talking about how he's trying to make stuff that gets people engaged for the algorithm. Anyway here I am being engaged, may you all have dank spell power numbers my fellow Gamer-Americans.

Hi me from the future. Deck of Lunacy, after some testing seems to be certified garbage. But I do have to mention when I topdecked a Cycle of Hatred against a secret hunter with a board of Hyena Alphas, winning me the game
i just opened the two priest legendaries in my first 20 packs so yeah, just play priest without an old god, good that we have all the steal and rng cards
Gotta say: of all the content in the build up to the expansion, this video is the one that made me load the game up this week. Don’t care if this loses viability later: it’s a fun deck to play!

I was playing my Tick Warlock and my opponent played yogg and got the rod of roasting, but the game crashed and he sent me a friend request and we got to bond over our sadness at not seeing the yogg pyro everything
The new secret + synergies for mage add so much draw, I'm sure there are a bunch of combo decks made possible now that would've been mediocre (or non-existent) before.
So is Incanter's Flow actually bad for Deck of Lunacy? It doesn't look like the new spells are discounted by Incanter's Flow so by using Incanter's before Lunacy are you weakening your deck by creating spells that are one mana cheaper? Or does Lunacy base it's cost off the original cost of the spell? I guess maybe having a deck of cheaper spells isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you kind lose out on getting some of the really nuts spells, like Puzzle Box.
i had the same idea as you Firebat. although i went secret cthun mage. super low curve and the incredible Sayge, draw 6-8 cards consistently, broken legendary. cthun is easy to get to
I wonder, if i put cthun and bakku in the same deck, who activates first? Like cthun separates in odd spells and bakku activates to? Wild questions jajaja
I had similar No Minion deck and Tickatus kept ruining it. Rebuilt it with heavy focus on draw and spell damage - lethal before they even corrupt the damn thing.

I love that Hearthstone is at the point where decks can literally have Ancestral Recall but better, and still be loads of fun.
