Last went to Disney World in the late 1990s and the one thing I remembered about Caribbean Beach was the looooooong walk to get anywhere. I forgot what section we stayed in but I couldn't stand the layout. On my trip to Universal in 2020, I ditched Disney and stayed at Cabana Bay. It's such a sleek, cool looking hotel that gets the retro and futuristic theming of the 1960s down so well. If you're ever there, the kids will love the pool and lazy river.

Looks like a great day and the kids were so cute at the splash pad. It did look like a great splash pad area.
The splash was AMAZING! 👌🏼 The girls loved it!
I booked Caribbean Beach before the skyliner opened. Our room was not ready when we arrived. It was located under the skyliner and not convenient to anything at all. It wasn't anywhere near where we had booked. They upgraded us to a suite at Art of Animation. We were right by the main building. Convenient to everything. The only thing was we didn't have the hot tub, slide, fire pit. We were going to have the preteen take the pirates cruise etc. So we didn't get to do any of that. Before Riviera my daughter and I stayed at Caribbean Beach. Our location was perfect close to everything. If you get the right location it is great....just no guarantees. This definitely turned me off from trying to book there again.
You do so great keeping positive. I get so overwhelmed with my toddler!
It definitely takes practice 😅 but I do try to stay calm and positive while traveling with her 🙌🏼❤️

I have two nieces a 6 year old and almost 4 year old and been looking at places to stay if we go to disney this looks promising
We were at topolino's terrace having dinner with a window seat looking down at the lawn games at 7pm on 1/31. Lol. My 6 year old dd and I were hoping to see you and Ashley on our trip. Can't wait to see the rest of the vlogs. Caribbean beach is so beautiful. I cant imagine being on the 2nd level though with a stroller.
Oh that’s so funny, you probably saw us! 😅 So excited to share the rest of this trip 🎉 And oh my goodness, yeah the stroller on the 2nd floor thing was kind of a pain, but by the end of the week I got used to it 🤪
You did it! We LOVE Primo Piatto, especially the ease of access to it from some many places. Love that Ellie’s favorite part of the day was Finding Nemo! 😂
Oh yes, primo piatto is no doubt my FAV quick service 🙌🏼 And isn’t that hilarious hahah, toddlers are so funny.

Hope you all have a great trip , a little Tip to keep strollers from tipping over put Valero ankle weights on the front of the stroller it works great
Wait, that’s genius 😅 The only thing is that it would make carrying the stroller up that flight of stairs a little more difficult haha.
@@BekahHart it would be difficult but as small as they are you can take them off when your traveling then add them when you have to add other things and not worry any time your toddler is out of the stroller it's always on the stroller

So fun!! How is traveling on the skyliner during busy times? Do the lines move pretty quickly?
Our trip is Monday and I’m trying to gauge early entry with enough time for getting to 2 of the parks on the skyliner. 🥰
It’s not bad at all! The lines do move pretty quick. We did early entry a couple of mornings, and there was almost no wait for the skyliner ☺️🙌🏼

How early ahead of time did you check in online? Or did you checkin when you got to the hotel so you both could request to be in the same building?
We did both online check in, and went to the front desk when we arrived just to make sure we would be in the same building ☺️

Did the resort have a place to lock up your luggage until your room was ready
Yes ☺️ Bell services will hold your luggage while you wait for your room. You just show your ticket they give you whenever you’re ready to pick up your things 🙌🏼
For being on the second floor and not wanting to deal with the stroller and stuff...your making your self sound lazy and too good for doing certain stuff
Not at all 🤣 Personally, I ended up enjoying the extra exercise. The reason I shared is for those who have mobility issues or parents with multiple kids and a large double stroller, it may be less than ideal in those scenarios.
