I live in Dolton. I have avoided a lot of meetings. This is all so frustrating. Is the mayor baiting us to protest and shout? We have the right to protest. If you lived here you would protest too. It would be nice if the park district was given permits to install park equipment. Many people would be healthier if they could exercise more.

No. This is no more than an effort by the township to remind speakers that the police will monitor your free speech. No more, no less!

The fact that she will not allow the books to be seen ensures there is nefarious activity going on. Bribing a few parts of the community whilst the majority suffer is also a red flag for nefarious behavior. We protested Monday. One of the ladies who spoke at the podium did great. Because of the "virus" I have not seen her in four years. The disrespectful attitude towards her by the acting deputy chief was despicable. The lady in the brown and tan top with the Bob style hair in grey braids is a very loved member of our community.
