Thanks Leslie! we are definitely having alot of fun with these monthly "shows" - getting connected to the world wide community of knitters!! and yes...Stay puft!! lol
Totally on the Ranunculus train wagon…chooo choo! I am on number four, this time out of a linen/cotton blend. i had a good laugh while watching today, I have had my toddler grandsons visiting for the last few days and we hear the train at our place a few times a day and we always say choo chooo and do the hand gesture. When you say you were on the train I automatically in my head said choo choo and looked up to see you do the gesture and hear you lol Thanks so much for all the inspiration 💓
Team Ankers!! Jaylene if you make a black one then Darlene can stand in the middle of us with her light coloured one and I'll wear my black one and we can be an Anker Oreo!! If you think this is a good idea then I KNOW we are 100% kindred. LOL! So many happy FOs, WIPs and next up knits you two!! I look forward to seeing if the dye bug gets you (Jaylene) after the workshop. Happy knitting friends!
You Tube suggested your podcast, so first time viewer! Almost local- I live in Kamloops where, sadly, we no longer have a yarn shop. 😒 I have the yarn to start an Ankers summer T, but it will be next summers knit now. Lol! Currently knitting the Weekender with a little added mohair for softness. Great knits you have made and plan to make. Very inspiring.
Welcome Jennifer! so close.....if you are ever in Prince George definitely stop into the shop! Definitely recommend the Ankers summer shirt for next year for sure. Always have wanted to knit the Weekender. Enjoy, happy knitting!
Thanks to you, I just discovered another Canadian yarn : Haynes Creek. Do you think talking to my WIP will help it grow as it does when you talk to your plants ?!? 😁
Hi Ladies - thuroughly enjoying your podcast :) - Jaylene..you mentioned you have made 3 Anker's and now think you "have it right"...can you share specifically what you modified or did differently to get the fit you wanted...just about to cast on so would love any tips. Thank you! Linda
Hi Linda, thanks for watching!! my first one I knit was a large, I gave that one away, a bit too big. My second one was a gift. The third one which I wear now is a Medium. Way better fit than the large. So what I learned is that when using yarn with cotton it will grow. Great pattern! Let us know how yours turns out!
It was fun to find you just, again, as I was wondering what to cast on. I love the Ankers Tee. I did notice thatone tee has three rows of pattern and the other has four. Was this personal preference to have the pattern continue to just above the bust line?
You noticed right. Jaylene's is a medium and Darlene's is a large. That's the difference. Hope you enjoy knitting it. It is an amazing piece!! Happy knitting 🧶🩵
Really like your podcast. Did you finish the cloudy cardi? Would be interested in it as I did one after you mentioned it in one of your previous episodes.
@@cutbankgirls I loved knitting it and it’s such a fabulous addition to my wardrobe. I knit it ins the color grass green and am now thinking of doing a second one in black. It’s a great cardigan for summer evenings.
