I also have three mowers. Cut every once in a while, a neighbor's yard. Not full-blown professional lawn care. Started with a Freedom Z rebuild job. It is ok for my property. Then I restored a Tiger Cub (old one) It is awesome with pumps and wheel motors. Then for some reason I had to have a Cheetah. Now have the 2017 Cheetah to get back up to speed. Thanks for the compare. Now I want a Turf Tiger though. LOL

I’ve been running my 2011 Turf Tiger since new. Changing deck drive shaft gear box real easy. Oil changes on my 35 Briggs, I pull oil filter off first. Easy access with a 10 mm socket then on oil drain plug. I had voltage regulator go bad and took out the electric clutch for the blades. Over 600 hours and will buy another when it’s time.
I just bought a tiger cat . I was going back and forth between the Patriot and Tiger cat. They have promotional pricing on the tiger cat so I got it. Super happy with the velocity deck. I cut tall wet grass today and no clumping. That deck is amazing. My old mower ( Walker ) would leave clumps and clog in tall or wet grass. The Walker mowers break down a lot also.
thats not possible on my 2016 Cheetah, but I am going to do away with the fuel tank selector and just go with an open T connector. I will put a simple fuel shut off valve in front of all of it. Thats the way my Exmark is. Both tanks pull down at the same time. I prefer that.
Do you think the cheetah needs a full suspension seat? I have a freedom Z with a full suspension seat like yours and I find myself using the freedom z more because of its more comfortable seat. Great video 👍
skliros The frame is one reason I bought my cheetah,it’s beefy.And the front end if plowed into a tree and bent/broke ,,,that whole front piece is replaceable by unbolting it.It is beefy for a weight kit on front when a bagger is on back is my guess.The clam shell is big and heavy when full.If you get one get a battery operated grease gun.You’ll thank me later.lol
I believe it is there is always grass stuck under it. You may want to check your bearing on the arm the spring connects to. I think I've had to replace it twice with 1250 hours
The seat on the turf tiger, is that the standard seat or upgraded version? I have a 2018 turf tiger 2 that has the seat that looks like the freedom z seat, single color brown. Is there a difference between the seat on the turf tiger and the freedom z?

If it where perfectly flat and you where not cutting thick grass the cheetah could.be faster. My turf tiger had a bigger engine so in the thick stuff the turf tiger was quicker. If you cut a lawn once a week they should cutt about the same speed.

For the Uneven weight because the dual fuel tanks on The cheetah, run each tank 1/4 to 1/4 to keep them balanced out

Take a handheld blower and keep them leaves and grass blown away from spindles.
That's what I do, and nothing to it, you're done cleaning in a minute.

Yes and they are tight there is some play in the hand levers where they push out sideways. its got 1400 hours so it's kind of expected at this point

My chute sided deck spring on my cheetah sits right on the deck causing rubbing. Is yours touching deck? Looks like it is in picture. Thanks
