That limited lunar rock TRD Offroad with the boulder interior is the exact same truck I just bought. All the same options less the predetor steps. I wasn't sure how I would like the boulder interior but it looks great with the lunar rock I'm very happy .
This is where I bought my Tundra . Never saw markups here, I got my Blueprint Limited iForcemax for under MSRP here back in June. At that time they still had little to no inventory but gave me a deal.
Love the platinum TRD off road package I would change my platinum for it 😍 Definitely would have to go I force max though. Love the Lunar color though also couldn’t agree more with you on that!
I like your show I know you were discussing the discount I can tell you here in California I live in San Bernardino county there’s a dealer next to me I would say a month ago or maybe a little bit longer. They had maybe five tundras drove by there this weekend, I counted at least 40 of them that tells me the market and way too high that’s one problem. The second problem. Interest rate is extremely high combine those two together. This is the recipe for a slow cells. I hope you had a wicks up and realize they’re not selling us a diesel the only selling us half a ton truck. Thank you.
Thanks for the insight. Is the soft tex significantly less quality than the leather? I have 2 Platinum TRD off roads in my neck of the woods that I want to see if I can get the dealers to compete if the leather is significantly better.
I build my TRD pro but no Toyota dealership takes my order, they trying to push with what they have, can someone help me how can I push my order straight through to factory company ???
Toyota doesn’t do factory orders. You can research around and find a dealer that has close to what you want, or wait for a dealer to get an allocation and try to have them add stuff to it. Good news in this case is the TRD Pro is built one way. Its pretty much pick your color
You’re better off looking for a lightly used Gen 2 TRD Pro, it will outlast the turbo v6.. *Thats another problem with Toyota, very few Pro’s and they don’t take orders.
Any experts or salesmen out there that would like to give some advice to us trying to buy new tundras. What’s a good offer on these new 24s? Considering they’re all “marked down” 3 or 4 thousand off msrp pretty much nationwide. ???
Toyota of Scranton is awesome. Great day for you to see all those beautiful Tundras. Truck with no mark ups, but with discounts, that’s amazing. I may drive from SC to get my 2025 if I can’t find any closer dealerships with the same kinda discounts.
If I was on the market and the only choice I had was a 3rd gen Tundra, it would be either the Platinum or 1794 with the Off-Road package. But in its current form and shape, which I dislike, I would buy a Chevy Silverado with the 3.0L engine.
What do you get on the 2024 Tundra Platinum if you add the TRD Off Road Package? I know it is a different suspension. Does the TRD ride stiffer than the regular suspension. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the TRD Off Road Package on a Platinum?
You get 20 inch trd wheels/falken wildpeak tires, trd grille, skid plate (not the pro one), bilstein suspension, trd off road decal, blacked out 4x4 badge, trd shifter, aluminum sport pedals, trd red push button, locking rear differential, crawl control, multi terrain select. The off road suspension is a tad stiffer but way more refined in the new gen. I see no disadvantages, maybe the price but thats already high
@@TundraDude34 Thanks for your quick response.. A couple of other questions. Are the wheels darker than the wheels that come on the Platinum? And is the grill any darker than the Platinum grill?
@user-qb6ls8lx7n the regular platinum wheels are a shiny gloss black, the trd wheels are more of a flat black. The TRD grille on Platinum is a dark gray. If you look at my most recent dealer walk video, we take a look at 3 Platinum TRDs
You should get a job at a Toyota dealer as a Salesman. You are in love with Toyota and Toyota should hire you as a salesman. I think you would do a great job as a salesman and makes lots of money too. Happy Thanksgiving. 😀
@@davidfeatherston1490If you finance, you’ll get the Military discount and $1000 discount. You just need to finance a minimum of $10000. Make one payment and pay off the rest. That’s what I did to get $1000 off.
Still way way overpriced for what they are. Toyota has screwed its Tundra loyalist and customers with ridiculous markups and this generation, 4’ wider turning radius, plastic bed, No Tow Hooks, No v8, and No TRD Pro’s. If you have a 2nd Gen keep it because it will outlast this plastic garbage grocery getter. These dealers will starve now that rates are high and these trucks are piling up on the lots.
I agree. I'm still driving my 07 5.7. My Tundra has been bulletproof since 2007. I just can't justify going in debt with these prices. These dealers have screwed themselves and their customers.
@@waynehenson1094Agreed! I really wanted to like the Gen 3 but feel Toyota has really screwed it up. That Frontend is hideous, plastic bed, the list goes on. I’ll keep my 2010 til the wheels fall off..
Prices will go down further with higher interest rates and trucks sitting on lots for months.
Good, keep em coming down
And I appreciate your dealer walks. Thank you
Thanks mark! Tons of tundras available. I’m looking forward to seeing a Lunar rock 1794, w trd off road package!
1794 with TRD is the best combo
Inventory starting to pile up quickly. You love to see it. Can probably get a new ‘23 at a huuge discount
Now is the time to remember those dealers that where asking 20 K's over MSRP a year ago. Maybe

The softex isn’t bad at all. The leather in the platinum and 1794 feels much softer though

If you get a limited with the trd off road package… does it still have that stupid air bags in the rear end of the truck??
Army green still best color.
Absolutely. Discontinued on Tundra for 2024 though 😢

To each, their own!
Still can’t justify a half ton for this much money. I’ll be going base 3500hd/f350 next.
So how do you justify having to use an airport to go and turn around one of them big old boat ankers,
@michaelheikkila6051 i would still pay this with a more reliable and far more maintenance options by toyota then a non toyota

Platinum regular I force trd off road
