Bands like Korn and Crowbar both pioneered drop tunings while being separate genres and I like this band to and if I remember I didn't hear a lot of guitar solos in Crowbars music and if I could remember if so they were rare in crowbars music
@TheMusicThrasher Korn is talented, you can't say their not talented based on another band being better in your eyes. Saying Korn sucks is an opinion, saying Korn is great is an opinion. I say Korn is badass and you need more respect.
@TheMusicThrasher KoRn doesnt feature guitar like most metal bands, so there's example 1 of many as to why they're unique. KoRn was one of the first metal bands to feature 7 string guitars in such a low tuning. Atheist has solo's, so do 98% of other metal and death metal bands out there? That's not unique in the least bit. And saying theyre badass should in no way influence decisions about the music, KoRn is badass, Jons kilt and bagpipes are, but if he dressed normal would I still like them? Ya
@TheMusicThrasher Listened to Atheist and what sets them apart from any other metal band? They have a good guitarist, cool riffs. A par drummer who doesn't understand how to close his hi hat. And their singer is just terrible. What sets KoRn apart form everyone else? Basically every instrument is unique to any other sound. In my OPINION KoRn is better.

Crowbar and Korn both have the greatest dissonant chords in metal. Just slow, chunky, and powerful.
