This has got to be one of the biggest upsets in the history of this show. We have had David over Goliath, only using a sling in a sword fight. We have had Buster Douglas, beating Mike Tyson at his own game. Nancy had taken out the Jeopardy super champ, Ken, at his own game. Now, it's this guy, a normal college grad, playing this game better than some super geniuses that more people will pay attention to. How is this so?
It's actually the biggest someone has some damn sense and smarts moments. Some of the people on the this show are airheads and using their cheats on easy questions whereas he's confident on his questions and even tho he's not 100% he goes all in which makes him the greatest contestant on this show
Can someone explain the 5th grade math question?🤔 I have never in my life have ever seen someone win the top prize in the syndicated version🥳 AND I just noticed he didn’t use his cheats! He basically played a perfect game🤗
The ratio of red to green is 3 to 4. This means that for every 4 green candles there are 3 red candles. So 4/7 are green. If there are 35 candles in total then 35*4/7 = 20 green candles
Dale's answer is the right one. You're basically seeing that for every 3 red candles, there are 4 green candles. The initial ratio is 3:4. Keep adding to the ratio until the two numbers equal 35. 3:4 = 7 6:8 = 14 9:12 = 21 12:16 = 28 15:20 = 35
@@oldchronokeep There's an easy way to do it. 3:4 is the ratio of red to green candles, but, if you just add them together they would be 7 which represent the whole 35 candles while 3 and 4 represent the fractions of the whole 35 candles. So, that would be: Red Candles 3/(3+4)×35 = 3/7×35 = 15 Green Candles 4/(3+4)×35 = 4/7×35 = 20 or 35 -15 = 20 (Subtract the overall amount with the amount of the red candles, this method is more faster and you can subtract it with the amount of the green candles if you figure out the amount of the green candles first).
Oh wow. Forgot I did this. I think i was looking it as a fraction and not a ratio maybe. And i didnt know if it was 35 total candies or 35 that are red🔴 and you had to figure out the green🟢 amount too. I was watching AYSTAFG on demand Pluto TV and saw another $250,000 winner 🎉
Geoff Wolinetz You aced the test. You answered 11 questions correctly without using any cheats and won $250,000 and then you won $1,000,000 when you signed up online without using any cheats and answered another 11 questions.😎😍😎😍

Or, 3x+4x=35
7x=35
x=5
4×5=20
