True. The game it's remaking I see as set before the 16-bit Sonic 2 (since it did not have the spin dash and only six emeralds like both versions of Sonic 1), so whoever is making this fan game may be taking some liberties of their own (maybe this will have the seventh emerald allowing Super Sonic).
This one Chaos Crystal that we haven't found yet. And I still don't know where to find it. Because at that point of the game, it's still a demo. I couldn't get any further to the end game.

Wow, kudos to how genesis accurate this is. Apart from some weird physics stuff going on, I would never be able to tell.
You can thank Flicky engine for that. The game doesn't really do the engine justice tho, but Flicky is really good.
