- A song written on the 26th of January 1959, less than a month after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, while its composer Eduardo Saborit was touring the Eastern Bloc and missing his homeland of Cuba. It has become one of the most well-known revolutionary songs in the country, being sung to this day. This recording was released on vinyl as part of a set of quintessential Cuban songs.
