I watched show live sitting in my living room with my hubby. Fantastic naming ceremony. Well done and congrats P&O! Going to look at booking a cruise on Arvia now 🤩Thanks for a brilliant hour!!!!
Excellent production and naming ceremony. She looks a gorgeous ship - however, both she and Arvia are both way too big for us but, we sincerely wish all those who choose these sea monsters for their cruising, a truly wonderful and enjoyable sailing. The Britannia is the largest we will travel on - and we really adore the smaller ships - Aurora and the Arcadia
Just watched in Tromso, Norway on board Aurora, seeking the northern lights, slightly cooler here down to minus 12 C tonight. Just been on Iona fantastic Arvia looks as good.
Enjoyed the naming ceremony. We were on Arvia 3 weeks ago it's a great ship, we throughly enjoyed it. Love the Caribbean, can't wait to go back again.😊
We watched the naming ceremony and set off next day to join the ship. Only 500 people were allowed to go to the onboard ceremony and the others could watch it like we did at home. It is a beautiful ship and the size caused very few problems. We had a balcony on deck 15 but there was a massive hangover above of about 3 meters and a bulk head to the left of similar size. Although we were on the sunny side we never saw the sun and our view was of the horizon. In the old days it would be called obstructed view. There were lots of shows, one evening we managed to get to 4 different shows. There were some odd shows but they seem to be aiming at a "younger" clientele. The sky dome didn't work for us as an entertainment centre as the sound was poor, echoey and unclear singing. We went to watch the "Elvis" movie and people started walking out after a few minutes as the sound was inaudible. We stayed for about 20 minutes, by which time half of the people had left. We saw one singer in the dome and then went to see her in the Clubhouse as we wanted to know if she always sang where you couldn't hear the words. She was perfect in the Clubhouse. The holiday app was a little unpredictable but we were told it was the older people that struggled with it. Finally, NO ballroom and latin dancing yet there was a very large atrium which was hardly ever used. We wouldn't dismiss the ship in future as it had a lot of interesting features but we do like dancing so would generally choose a ship with proper dancing.
Just spent two weeks onboard personally prefer the Azura any day you can’t put a price on atmosphere and our sail offs were something we’ll always remember . The sky dome has spoilt the whole area and although the staff try , it was something that happened spontaneously with the guests dancing and everyone waving them off now it’s too broken up to happen .
Just arrived back from same cruise .no ones mentioned Heather small onboard. Probably far more famous than Nicole sh_t singer & far more down to earth. Nicole entered the ship via a hummer with security & blacked out windows. Heather small mingling with everyone & sold out the theatre 3 times & is British.
Nicole considers UK her second home and UK has been gracious to her and her career . Am glad she was named the godmother of the Arvia after all Arvia should be welcoming to everyone not only Brit’s 😁❤️
Very disappointing, we were on the ship and were treated like third class passengers. Wasn't allowed anywhere near the naming , (hadn't got a ticket) which was fair enough, but also wasn't even allowed off the ship. Because we were restricted were we could go, felt like we had lost a complete day of our holiday. This wasn't fair on the rest of us (4500 passengers)'500 were chosen at random apparently ??? When spoke to P&O personal, told them to ask others passengers for their opinions but they weren't interested. Done a few cruises with P&O but this is our last one.
Id thought you were ment to be a working class boy from Essex. not a guy who would do advertisement with company that sacked uk staff so could pay foreign staff £2.5 pound a hour
Danny apologies for any confusion to your comment however P&O ferries are owned by a Dubai investment group and are not associated with P&O Cruises are a completely different company
This kind of pompous 'naming' occasion doesn't sit well with myself. Paul Ludlow banging out the same soundbites all the time, as in previous ads. The cast must have cost a fortune.
Beautiful Barbados 🇧🇧 🇧🇧 🇧🇧. GEM OF THE CARIBBEAN. 🫶🫶

I feel I need to start going to these 🤗
Barbados looking real good 🇧🇧
A great presentation and naming ceremony which I watched at home near Boston UK with my wife.
Fantastic and exciting times ahead. Loads of memory making. Happy Holidays everyone xx
watched it live on the beach in Speightstown, fantastic atmosphere. Looks a beautiful ship.

Beautiful ship, excellent ceremony. Nicole looked stunning. Happy sailings on Arvia.
Nicole's band members must be bloody roasting in those bomber jackets. 😂
Just got home after a fantastic two week cruise with Arvia in the Caribbean. Wish we could have stayed on.
Watched it 'live' and loved it, also entered the competition
This puts P & O on the map.
Watched at home with my cat and 4 year old grandson Beautiful Arvia ❤️💙🤍
Absolutely Enjoyed it. Olly Murs was fantastic but that ship is fantastic
Magnificent!!!! What a spectacular naming ceremony...
Happy sailing and good fortune!! Go Arvia!!!
Best wishes for Arvia - may she have fair winds and good fortune
Just watched in Tromso, Norway on board Aurora, seeking the northern lights, slightly cooler here down to minus 12 C tonight.
Just been on Iona fantastic Arvia looks as good.
Sailed on ArvIa from 18/2 until 4/3. Initially thought she was too big, but soon got used to her. She's amazing and would return onboard tomorrow.
This is exciting news. A BIG welcome to P & O Cruise family
Just back from Caribbean on Britannia, fabulous naming ceremony of Arvia looking forward to cruising the Caribbean on her soon.🍾😎
Watching from beautiful Iona ❤ Best wishes to all on Arvia!! Congrats 🎉🎉🎉 Shawn
So much fun! I love this ship! Can’t wait to get onboard in a couple of months :)
We are sailing on her next year.
A fantastic job.
Beautiful naming ceremony ❤
Fabulous thankyou xxx❤❤
Enjoyed the naming ceremony. We were on Arvia 3 weeks ago it's a great ship, we throughly enjoyed it. Love the Caribbean, can't wait to go back again.😊
Amazing show!
Amazing! I assume you've reached out to the 800 staff you made redundant this time last year with no notice to work on the new ship?
I am hoping to join Arvia soon for a Caribbean cruise.❤
I frickin love trevor nelson. Hes been great since the 90s to now. Love him.
Look great
Looks a loverly boat, I am on my way.

Sounds good ❤️
Can’t wait to set sail in June x
Wow i love it 😍😍 Arvia is so beautiful !!
P&O Cruises Come with Arvia in Guadeloupe please !!!!! 😭 I want to see her
Imagine this ship docking for SXM electronic music festival 2023.
Awesome!!
as a past passenger with p&0 and looking forward to 2024 aboard ventura regards k probert
thought Olly was fab considering just backing vocalists and a solo acoustic guitar! true talent!
Beautiful ship 🎉🎉
Beautiful to watch. Pity it’s so expensive for solo passengers.
Watched from UK home
How do you enter the competition to win a holiday?
Looks good but to big for me as we have done the iona but now going on ventura for birthday cruise round canaries 😁
Awesome
Tried watching it but sound don't match the picture

Going on Saturday
Was the beach bit pre recorded ?
Nope, it was all live
Damn, that hurt my heart. I could have done with that bottle of rum. 😅
Does Arvia have a app?
Cant even sort a replacement ship for Hull to Zebrugge. Clientele not good enough??
Shame audio is 5 minutes out of sync.
Remember she has a sister
Did she have any more fires on board ?

I am not going on po boat this I am going on po cruise Ventura for two weeks
Web page not working 😢
Wonderful ceremony and a beautiful ship. I did wonder why Nicole was chosen as her godmother. It should be a British entertainer.
Nicole is British, I believe!😊😅😮😅😊
@@heathermayapayne Nicole was born in Hawaii , which makes her a US citizen.

Done a few cruises with P&O but this is our last one.
What a waste of good rum I miss 'MV Oceana'
The godmother of any British ship should be British 🇬🇧And not an American 🇺🇸
Pity that they didn't do bunting to give it a party atmosphere 🇬🇧
Underwhelming after all of the hype 😢
So true .
😢😮😢😢😢75 i 😢😢 you 😊😊 and
Whilst I do love my P&O cruise this waste of money is not going to make them cheaper
Bout time you got rid of those useless jab mandates
Id thought you were ment to be a working class boy from Essex. not a guy who would do advertisement with company that sacked uk staff so could pay foreign staff £2.5 pound a hour
