Could pretty easily and safely get msb but im not sure how good that would be compared to rcb and an offhand prayer item in the fight caves. Id still say go for rcb, but its not my life on the line lol

A rune crossbow defeated you during swampletics when you lost it, and now you're going to let another one defeat you.
It makes the most sense to risk it for the rune crossbow since the goal is a fire cape. If you dont have the best odds for the firecape, you are risking far more when it comes time by lacking gear. This is tanking the risk early in order to get less risk where it really counts
He's gotta be expressing real feelings, but with the knowledge that he really is gonna keep going back in. It just doesn't fit with Settled's character to give up on something because it's too hard.

I started playing OSRS thanks to Settled and did the Dwarf Cannon quest for the first time recently and even though I’m playing a normal account my heart rate was a million miles an hour while fixing the fences thanks to this series lmao

The Kandarin Headgear is an always on lightsource that you don't need to wear and doesn't trigger gas. I don't know if you can do the diary safely, but if you can you might want to get it in case slayer takes you back to the accursed cave.
You cannot do the diary risk free. It requires you do an agility shortcut that has a chance to fail and give you damage, and training agility is nigh impossible without taking any damage.
@@purge2202and i think there are some shortcuts that always have a decently high chance of failing. my agility’s in the 90’s and the karamja stepping stones always mess me up, and i think they only require like 20 or 40 or something

You need to wear the headgear so he probably wouldn't want it over spiny helm anyway

I'm glad to hear he has a remarkable backlog. The idea that these are each done live is scary, due to how easy it would be for someone to see that he's planning to go to a pvp-enabled area soon, and then try to camp him out to immortalize themselves in infamy on the channel. Would be a real dick move, but all it takes is one person to try it. So him presumably having been done with this grind for two or three months at this point is pretty great news.
I guess if it's pre-recorded that means he's definitely gonna go for the rune crossbow and isn't actually debating to stop his grind for it.
