Here is some food for thought; if Akainu, Aokiji and Aramaki weren't marines, they could essentially be a three-team island creation team. Akainu creates the land, Aokiji freezes it to cool the intense heat and Aramaki creates the plant life. As you said they can alter islands themselves, they could *literally* make new islands all over the One Piece world!
i do really like the idea of Green Bull just pulling a WarHammer Titan, and keeping his actual body underground while controlling his "body" via a huge root system that he makes whenever he cultivates the area he's in. Growing clones of his giant forest monster form like Cracker did with his biscuit soldiers kind of deal.

I imagine a single admiral couldn’t take a yonko, but there advantage is that they are still super strong but also have very solid team work with each other as opposed to two yonko trying to work together

@@scionofafrica I kinda agree, but it's not that straight, with the OP devil fruits they have and all the control they have of them, they certainly can hurt her. With logias, using a good observation Haki with the flexibility of being not solid they can dodge her attacks and with a lot of brutal elemental power they can hurt her, so they can fight her on equal footing even being less durable and less physically Strong. Same with Kaido. Anyway that's not to say they would defeat her, I would bet on big mom 1v1, but not 100% sure, and she basically don't have a chance against 2 or more.
Funny how oda made the blind admiral have more clear vision of the world while the other one is closed off and believes the hardest in the world government despite being nature itself. Wish more mangaka did this fun irony to characters and powers. When all the admirals fight. That island will be something of legends with all the shifts like punk hazard became.
There is also a deeper reason. In the scales of justice, the woman depicted there has a blindfold over her eyes. This is a play on the fact that justice is blind, it doesn't care about how you look, how old are you or what gender you are. You will be judged, blindly. Oda always has a deeper reason for everything.

Kinda along the same thought process as "They are masters of their Devil Fruits." Aokiji was stabbed *by Whitebeard* and shrugged it off like it was nothing. That's not because Whitebeard didn't add any Haki to his strike, he just didn't *hit* anything because Aokiji predicted his action and molded his body accordingly. So for me I have always based the strength of the Admirals during the battle of Marineford, since Akainu got beat up by Whitebeard. He was still really powerful and durable, he took many hits and dealt a lot of damage and even more impressive feats. Though I need to say something that came to mind. Just like how Whitebeard had to hold back so he wouldn’t shatter the entire island, the admirals held back. They froze the sea and rained magma then rained light laser beams too. That is all true, but none of them used awakened abilities. If they were to have used their awakened abilities then I believe they would have permanently changed and messed up the island, just like how we saw the admirals hold back in the holy land. I always thought the admirals showed off some great feats in the war, but knowing they held back because they couldn’t just destroy the marine HQ helps in seeing them as being stronger than I previously perceived. Also on the War topic, after seeing how insanely overpowered Shanks is with Conqueror’s Haki then that explains why Akainu dropped a brick in his pants when Shank’s was right in front of him. Akainu was injured and Shanks can target his Conqueror’s Haki, obviously not pinpoint since others around still get affected. Though could u imagine being damaged badly, nearly killed, then Shanks is in front of you and could unleash his godly Conqueror’s Haki a mere foot or so in front of your face. I’m not saying it would have possibly just wiped out Akainu but it could very well have since Akainu knows he is severely injured, he knows how powerful it is, and he knows that having the fear of it equates to having a lower will which makes him more susceptible to the Haki and yet I say that as to make you more terrified knowing the fact which we saw on his face. Insane how many things we can look at from this chapter and trace back to make more sense of past events.
You should do video where you rank Devil fruits based on their real life usefulness. I mean most Devil fruits are combat based and utterly useless in real life. But there are things like Choppers fruit that would be insanely useful, because he can understand animals for example. And added intelligence would not be bad thing either. Or Marco's healing ability, just amazing. Or Cairbou's logistics fruit. It's interesting because generally the strongest fruits are actually quite useless.

I always thought that Fujitora was literally "blind justice" in the sense that he judges as impartially as he can, and when his personal feelings would get in the way of a rational decision he lets an external factor decide for him. Aramaki I thought would have "wild justice" because forest and nature, and I think he does but it's a twisted version. Instead of a simple "might makes right" mentality he views the world in the lense of a strict hierarchy, like a food chain. Those at the top are destined to rule the weaker members not just because they earned it, but because they deserve it. Whether or not it's actually true since the celestial dragons are not particularly strong, but maybe he views the navy as an extension of the celestial dragons power and thus part of their divine right to rule? Fun fact: Some fans and I crunched the numbers and Aokiji's Ice Age technique is the greatest feat in One Piece. Granted, we ran the numbers before a lot of Onigashima and Oda doesn't actually care about the dumb science of it all. The crux of the issue is that it takes a stupid amount of energy to freeze water compared to boiling it, and even moreso for saltwater. Lowballing it, Aokiji probably froze around 300 million cubic meters of ice, and that translates to 126 quintillion (20 zeroes) joules of energy, vs the 300 quadrillion (16 zeroes) joules it would take to freeze the same amount. A literal order of magnitude more than what Oven pulled off.

I think a big problem with powerscaling the Yonko and Admirals is that our first and really only major conflict between them was Whitebeard, who on one hand happened to be dying and old, and injured. But on the other hand people entirely ignore the fact that Whitebeard is more King of the Pirates level than Yonko. The guy was the strongest man in the world, he could destroy the world. He was Yonko level because he was literally dying, he was nerfed to Yonko tier. That along with the fact that marines were fighting on their home turf meaning they could not go all out. We've seen what two Admirals fighting does to a place, something that Marineford didn't even look close to with five admiral level marines at the place. It's makes it all very strange if not impossible to scale well. It's safe to say Fleet admirals are probably Yonko level. We don't really know the gaps between Admirals and each other though, one admiral may be just above the commander tier, while others may be safely Yonko. We don't know enough. We've never seen them go all out, which is big enough of a reason why we shouldn't try to scale them.
Oh yeah that's true, whitebeard was literally on par with the pirate king and he was his rival, no yonko was even on that level. Why do you think he has a 5 billion range bounty like roger? That proves it already. Sengoku and garp were pretty much on par and before garp and roger nearly killed one another often. And after whitebeard being old hes just basically yonko level and look how the admirals messed up his commanders. Pretty sure they can hurt the yonkos considering how kizaru and akainu literally damaged whitebeard
While I agree admirals must be godly with their devil fruits, I also would say their Haki isn't as Strong as a Yonkou's. Not to say they are bad at Haki, it's for sure strong enough to dominate most pirates in one piece world. But Haki is directly tied to ambition, and while Admirals are ambitious(to get on that level of the marine takes a lot, and also they have their goals of justice) but not as ambitious as the Yonkou that basically got to the top of the world just by brute strength and willpower. Also, while I say Haki cames from ambition, it's not just wanting something, it's the determination to fight face to face anything that tries to keep you away from your goals.
If tekking is right and the admirals are given the logia after being picked, you can assume they have strong wills and strong haki. I'm not sure that he's right, but either way we don't have evidence that show the admirals don't have good haki. They haven't been pushed very hard.
Aramaki justice is not simply "Akainu justice" seeing that he is directly contradicting Akainu orders by invading Wano. My guess is that Akainu justice is more centralized, "order" to reinforce Tenryubito power, and Aramaki is more chaotic/decentralized but also wants to defeat "the evil pirates" and reinforce Tenryubito power
Hey, I just came up with a theory that relates to the marines (even though not with the admirals) Garp likes bringing talented people to the marines. He tried to make Luffy and Ace join and helped Coby and Helmeppo train and rise. So all things point to him having done the same to Dragon - Trained him from youth and inducted him into the marines. Maybe Dragon was part of the marines for a time, before realizing that they were corrupt and leaving. It would be quite interesting.
Sorry to break it down to you buddy, but Garps son Dragon being a former marine isn't a new theory, it's been around for a while now. Hell, even tekking has discussed it a few times. Good for to have thought of it by yourself though.
I have a dumb, but maybe interesting question. Could Luffy in Gear 5th grab a Logia user while they are shifted into their elemental form? He grabbed and threw natural lightning while fighting Kaido by suffusing the bolt with his rubber property, could this work on Kizuru or Akainu?
Pretty sure he or anyone else just need to use haki to do that. If you can hit them with haki why wouldn't you be able to grab them? Unless im missing something here. Rayleigh stopped Kizaru's elemental kick with his leg using haki no?

I think it would would take all three Admirals to take down one Yonkou, it would be a brutal fight but I think they possibly could do it. One on one though? No chance. The Yonkou are not human, just look what Whitebeard did to Akainu whilst half dead. They are quite literally built different. The Admirals are physically normal humans and if you hit them with haki it will hurt them. It took learning a special kind of Haki to even damage Kaido and it took one of the most broken devil fruits to defeat big mom, if the Admirals can't find a way to overcome their insane durability I don't see how they could win individually. The three of them could use their teamwork to figure it out though I think. It would be the coolest fight ever though fr.

I still don't think Luffy is stronger than Kaido yet. It took the scabbards, Luffy + worst generation, Yamato, Luffy again + dying/awakening his devil fruit to take him down.
I don't see where this impression that he is stronger than Kaido came from anyway. True, he did land the finishing blow and Kaido himself would probably attest that Luffy was his most challenging opponent out of the ones he faced in that raid, but it was still a group effort both during the occasions when they were fighting together as well as in the One-on-One battles. Luffy is strong, but he is not Kaido's equal yet. I am sure he would make a challenge for other pirates and marines to beat, I would even wager that it would be unwise for an admiral to take him lightly, but he and his crew still have room to grow.

The Yonko and the admirals are seen as the strongest individuals of their respective sides so there is a great deal of speculation regarding the power parameters in this anime. While Luffy and company defeating Kaido is an impressive achievement, ultimately the time will come when Luffy will have to be strong enough to defeat both one on one. Some people think that time has already come, but I am sure Oda will show that the admirals are individuals to be feared in their own right soon enough.
I think Fujitora is naturally strong himself in terms of haki and swordsmanship and on top of that he has a sword that's eaten the gravity fruit. We never see him using gravity as if he was like Pain or Dante, but we see the gravity on display whenever he unsheeaths his sword but who knows maybe he just likes to use his fruit like Yami. I think Fujitora has a gravity sword and is greatly skilled in natural combat ability like swordsmanship and haki.
The Navy being a military requires that every rank pass a paper written exam of some sort along with a physical test. Give Luffy a written exam and he'll fail a hundred times before passing.

If you are gonna make "Gravity" an element, you are also gonna make "Electromagnetism" an element, which would then classify Kidd as a Logia fruit user
It could be seen as Logia if instead of gravity we consider it to be graviton. Then the gravity altering would be a mere effect in same way as fire Logia could set stuff in fire. Tho each time Fujitora uses the ability he would basically disappear in thin air so that would kind of speak against it being Logia. But otherwise it would work. For comparison Pika Pika no Mi makes Kizaru turn into photons and that's a Logia. So turning into graviton surely would be Logia as well and it gives you ability to control gravity.

Enel being the lightning logia fruit is almost like an electricity fruit and electromagnetism is one of the four fundamental interactions of our physical universe (as is gravity) so maybe if Kidd's fruit and Fujitora's fruit are awakened it would be sort of like a special paramecia, logia-like fruit. idk if this is relevant but i thought it was interesting
I still think Kizaru is the strongest and most deadly admiral. He might not be as durable as Akainu but I think he is the one people should fear the most espcially if he's angry or takes things serious. I think he's too laid back to want a leadership position like garp. The admirals are still monsters well the original I'm vouch for the most. I think Luffy will beat Fujitora or Greenbull in a 1 v 1 at the moment but not Kizaru, Akainu, or Kuzan just yet but can push them to a high-extreme diff fight and lose.

People vastly underestimate the difficulty in which protagonists will have to go to combat the Logia power of Admirals. Kaido and Big Mom are primarily using their own power whereas Logia's will be altering the environment much like Katakuri and Doflamingo which caused problems.
7:13 technically a logia is an element OR force of nature and gravity seems like a force of nature to me. It's kinda like a reverse katakuri where the reason he isn't a logia is because mochi isn't an element or force of nature while gravity is but Fujitora can't turn into gravity.

Technically, Gravity is NOT a force but more like a field which causes disruption in space-time fabric. Everything, even light is affected massively due to gravity (thing Black hole being black) . By real world standards, Kizaru should wipe the floor with Everyone except Fujitora

Considering the levels of haki and Devil Fruit mastery Luffy achieved since Dressrosa it is safe to assume that he is much more confident in taking down a single Admiral by now, possibly on his own even. It also bears mentioning that the time Luffy "fought" Fujitora, he was still recovering from his first truly hard-fought battle post-timeskip, so he would obviously be weakened. That brings us to an important point: Since learning haki, most importantly observation haki, Luffy didn't just fight anyone no matter what, he chose his battles much more logically.
I mean, Haki is good and all, but the admirals probably have a better mastery of the fruits, as well as having strong Haki. I can see Luffy taking down one Admiral, but not easy. Not because they are stronger than Kaido, but their mastery of devil fruits and how they fight. With Kaido, it was a brawl, I don't see that happening with Akainu for example Note: I did not watch the full video when writing this. So I may just repeat what Tekking says
@@maxteraform I think a 1v1 fight would for sure still be a struggle, not just because of the Admirals powers, but because they have literal decades of experience. Strength and experience go hand in hand, so even if Luffy alone was stronger than any singular Admiral, said Admiral wouldn't be a pushover just from a strategical point of view. Easy example: What if an Admiral decides to fight in a crowded city, basically taking the people hostage as part of the fight. I can see Akainu and Greenbull both resorting to those dirty tactics.
@@narfd.8837 I don't see Akainu doing that, he may be an extremist, but there isn't any point to actively endanger civilians in order to pursue true justice. Green Bull would do it though. Even if Liffy was stronger, he hasn't fought seriously against a Logia. I don't see him dominating Akainu if all Sakazuki did was exploding magma around him. Like, it will hurt, as we saw Kaidos magma dragon hurt Luffy. So it should be natural to assume that Akainu, the guy who can bend magma to his will, would have far more deadly magma than Kaido.
@@narfd.8837 The thing about Luffy is, he has got precision and long range attacks. Those tactics will.not work on Luffy. Luffy as it stands has got a counter for every type of opponent.
@@narfd.8837 I have another scenario to consider. What if an admiral turns his entire fighting location (and this can be anywhere mind you) into a giant magma field. Between the magma itself, the noxious gases in it, and the fact that there will be very little if any solid footing for his opponent would make fighting him very difficult. Control the environment in which you are fighting, and your opponent will be hard pressed to control the fight itself. I am sure that the other admirals could come up with something similar, they didn't get their rank by being unable to adapt to unfavorable situations after all. I would like to see Luffy fight an admiral at full strength just so we are clear, I simply think that he between the admirals abilities, their experience and their usage of the devil fruits they possess they will still be formidable opponents.
The admirals are strong but their portrayal definitely took several hits so the threat doesn't feel as "dangerous" as it should. Vs Kaidos crew felt like the beast pirates got low differed except zoro and Sanji but even then their fights felt rather short
I would clearly put the two new admirals under the old three. Would even say that Fujitora is a little bit above Aramaki. Aramaki is probably the youngest of all admirals and his words and actions suggest that he also wants to prove that he is not the weakest and that his age is not a disadvantage compared to the others. I would also see Fujitora's devil powers as an advantage. He can throw damn meteorites from the sky at his opponent. A fireproof forest doesn't bring much either ^^ Also think that he simply has more experience and is simply a better fighter than Aramaki. I certainly don't have to start with Kizaru,Ajokiji and Akainu and explain why they are stronger than the two freshmen?^^ Think Akainu is probably the strongest, then Aokiji and then Kizaru, although they are all very close. Then comes Fujitora and Aramaki, although I would put the two closer together than the other three. Fujitora also has the disadvantage that he is blind and has no Logia. So think that Luffy or if Sanji and Zoro would fight together against Aramaki they would win. It would be a difficult fight but in the end they would have won. Especially if the three had fought together. One should not underestimate them. especially zoro and luffy, who ultimately defeated kaido, who I personally would put way above aramaki. Emperors are stronger than admirals. what you could see. Akainu fought an old sick and injured Whitebeard and was losing and he is arguably the strongest of the Admirals. in addition there is probably the factor that whitebeard didn't want to kill anyone but only wanted to save ace. He was kind in comparison and didn't fight with all his might and will to kill his opponents. probably only at the end when ace died but by then he was already at the end of his strength and could only hurt akainu instead of really killing him. Don't know if he wanted that. maybe akainu was just a naughty kid to him and wanted to give him a beating instead of killing him
I am totally on board with the idea of someone with a devil fruit, logia or otherwise, keeping a record of everything they know about their fruit with the intent of making it essentially a strategy guide for future users. The part of the video discussing that reminded me of a "Naruto" fan story I stumbled across where Naruto came across a set of journals the first Hokage wrote to help any later users of the infamous wood style jutsu.

Not only does it show how untouchable he feels with Zoro, Sanji, and Jimbei with him. It also shows that they have all leveled up in the Wano Arc. Edit: To anyone getting heated over the first line. Luffy post Dressrosa is so far below his current level, it's ridiculous. All his Haki has been levelled up significantly, and his DF is awakened with the most broken ability ever.
I am really curious about how many Admirals are necessary to take down a 100%-powered Kaido without losing a comrade. There were so many rebellion members involved during Wano, but ony three current top Marines.
Dragon and akainu are the same age , I wonder if akainu knew Dragon personally and when Dragon became the revolutionary , it messed up akainu mentally.
I’ll say it every time I get the chance: I think dragon was marine who breezed through the ranks while Sakazuki had to grind. He got special privileges being garps son, which lead him to getting to go to the holy land. Met Luffys mom (a celestial) she had Luffy. They killed her and dragon learned some shit up in marijois. Defected from the marines and started RA. Sakazuki resents him for it (and Luffy by association)

I think you’re forgetting that all the yonko we’ve fought have been able to use the highest tiers of haki, specifically conquerers haki, and Kaido said that Haki is what makes you powerful not your DF. Aside from Sengoku, we haven’t seen any of the admirals use conquerors haki, automatically putting them a tier lower than those who can use conquerors coating and conquerors haki to its fullest.
I think you are forgetting the admirals also have advanced haki just not conq haki from what we know. It's very likely sakazuki has it due to his fleet admiral status. The admirals devil fruit abilities are so strong I don't think the lack of conq haki really matters. Just look at blackbeard from what we have seen he's shown literally 0 haki yet many people think hes the strongest currently.
@@danyal6181 I have to correct you on Blackbeard though. We know he has Haki for 2-3 reasons. In his first very appearance he mention that Luffy and Zoro have strong Haki. Then in impel down he mention that Luffy Haki has grown. Lastly he was a veteran pirate For 20 years on Whitebeard ship so strong enough to be a division commander. So I am 100% confident he can use all forms of Haki. Plus we didn’t see a lot of his fights in details.

They’re going to be useful at the end of the series so it won’t make sense for them to be flat out defeated in combat but they’re starting to look less threatening because we’re in the new world lol. This is yonko/pirate area. They looked threatening back in paradise because people didn’t know haki then(take Smoker for example) and there were mainly weak people apart from the Whitebeard pirates. But now it’s a whole different situation for those guys. You can’t fly out of a canon and decide you’re gonna beat up everyone lol. The admiral will die. Same goes for everyone actually.

Here is some food for thought; if Akainu, Aokiji and Aramaki weren't marines, they could essentially be a three-team island creation team. Akainu creates the land, Aokiji freezes it to cool the intense heat and Aramaki creates the plant life. As you said they can alter islands themselves, they could *literally* make new islands all over the One Piece world!

@@scionofafrica I kinda agree, but it's not that straight, with the OP devil fruits they have and all the control they have of them, they certainly can hurt her. With logias, using a good observation Haki with the flexibility of being not solid they can dodge her attacks and with a lot of brutal elemental power they can hurt her, so they can fight her on equal footing even being less durable and less physically Strong.
Same with Kaido.
Anyway that's not to say they would defeat her, I would bet on big mom 1v1, but not 100% sure, and she basically don't have a chance against 2 or more.

Kinda along the same thought process as "They are masters of their Devil Fruits." Aokiji was stabbed *by Whitebeard* and shrugged it off like it was nothing. That's not because Whitebeard didn't add any Haki to his strike, he just didn't *hit* anything because Aokiji predicted his action and molded his body accordingly.

So for me I have always based the strength of the Admirals during the battle of Marineford, since Akainu got beat up by Whitebeard. He was still really powerful and durable, he took many hits and dealt a lot of damage and even more impressive feats. Though I need to say something that came to mind. Just like how Whitebeard had to hold back so he wouldn’t shatter the entire island, the admirals held back. They froze the sea and rained magma then rained light laser beams too. That is all true, but none of them used awakened abilities. If they were to have used their awakened abilities then I believe they would have permanently changed and messed up the island, just like how we saw the admirals hold back in the holy land. I always thought the admirals showed off some great feats in the war, but knowing they held back because they couldn’t just destroy the marine HQ helps in seeing them as being stronger than I previously perceived.
Also on the War topic, after seeing how insanely overpowered Shanks is with Conqueror’s Haki then that explains why Akainu dropped a brick in his pants when Shank’s was right in front of him. Akainu was injured and Shanks can target his Conqueror’s Haki, obviously not pinpoint since others around still get affected. Though could u imagine being damaged badly, nearly killed, then Shanks is in front of you and could unleash his godly Conqueror’s Haki a mere foot or so in front of your face. I’m not saying it would have possibly just wiped out Akainu but it could very well have since Akainu knows he is severely injured, he knows how powerful it is, and he knows that having the fear of it equates to having a lower will which makes him more susceptible to the Haki and yet I say that as to make you more terrified knowing the fact which we saw on his face. Insane how many things we can look at from this chapter and trace back to make more sense of past events.
You should do video where you rank Devil fruits based on their real life usefulness. I mean most Devil fruits are combat based and utterly useless in real life. But there are things like Choppers fruit that would be insanely useful, because he can understand animals for example. And added intelligence would not be bad thing either. Or Marco's healing ability, just amazing. Or Cairbou's logistics fruit. It's interesting because generally the strongest fruits are actually quite useless.

I always thought that Fujitora was literally "blind justice" in the sense that he judges as impartially as he can, and when his personal feelings would get in the way of a rational decision he lets an external factor decide for him.
Aramaki I thought would have "wild justice" because forest and nature, and I think he does but it's a twisted version. Instead of a simple "might makes right" mentality he views the world in the lense of a strict hierarchy, like a food chain. Those at the top are destined to rule the weaker members not just because they earned it, but because they deserve it. Whether or not it's actually true since the celestial dragons are not particularly strong, but maybe he views the navy as an extension of the celestial dragons power and thus part of their divine right to rule? It's a stretch but it's all I got

Fun fact: Some fans and I crunched the numbers and Aokiji's Ice Age technique is the greatest feat in One Piece. Granted, we ran the numbers before a lot of Onigashima and Oda doesn't actually care about the dumb science of it all.
The crux of the issue is that it takes a stupid amount of energy to freeze water compared to boiling it, and even moreso for saltwater. Lowballing it, Aokiji probably froze around 300 million cubic meters of ice, and that translates to 126 quintillion (20 zeroes) joules of energy, vs the 300 quadrillion (16 zeroes) joules it would take to freeze the same amount. A literal order of magnitude more than what Oven pulled off.

I think a big problem with powerscaling the Yonko and Admirals is that our first and really only major conflict between them was Whitebeard, who on one hand happened to be dying and old, and injured. But on the other hand people entirely ignore the fact that Whitebeard is more King of the Pirates level than Yonko. The guy was the strongest man in the world, he could destroy the world. He was Yonko level because he was literally dying, he was nerfed to Yonko tier.
That along with the fact that marines were fighting on their home turf meaning they could not go all out. We've seen what two Admirals fighting does to a place, something that Marineford didn't even look close to with five admiral level marines at the place.
It's makes it all very strange if not impossible to scale well.
It's safe to say Fleet admirals are probably Yonko level. We don't really know the gaps between Admirals and each other though, one admiral may be just above the commander tier, while others may be safely Yonko. We don't know enough. We've never seen them go all out, which is big enough of a reason why we shouldn't try to scale them.

Oh yeah that's true, whitebeard was literally on par with the pirate king and he was his rival, no yonko was even on that level. Why do you think he has a 5 billion range bounty like roger? That proves it already. Sengoku and garp were pretty much on par and before garp and roger nearly killed one another often. And after whitebeard being old hes just basically yonko level and look how the admirals messed up his commanders. Pretty sure they can hurt the yonkos considering how kizaru and akainu literally damaged whitebeard

While I agree admirals must be godly with their devil fruits, I also would say their Haki isn't as Strong as a Yonkou's. Not to say they are bad at Haki, it's for sure strong enough to dominate most pirates in one piece world. But Haki is directly tied to ambition, and while Admirals are ambitious(to get on that level of the marine takes a lot, and also they have their goals of justice) but not as ambitious as the Yonkou that basically got to the top of the world just by brute strength and willpower.
Also, while I say Haki cames from ambition, it's not just wanting something, it's the determination to fight face to face anything that tries to keep you away from your goals.
If I have Kizaru's DF, I dont think I'll ever need Haki. Speed Effin KILLS ☠️☠️☠️
If tekking is right and the admirals are given the logia after being picked, you can assume they have strong wills and strong haki.
I'm not sure that he's right, but either way we don't have evidence that show the admirals don't have good haki. They haven't been pushed very hard.
Aramaki justice is not simply "Akainu justice" seeing that he is directly contradicting Akainu orders by invading Wano. My guess is that Akainu justice is more centralized, "order" to reinforce Tenryubito power, and Aramaki is more chaotic/decentralized but also wants to defeat "the evil pirates" and reinforce Tenryubito power
Hey, I just came up with a theory that relates to the marines (even though not with the admirals)
Garp likes bringing talented people to the marines. He tried to make Luffy and Ace join and helped Coby and Helmeppo train and rise. So all things point to him having done the same to Dragon - Trained him from youth and inducted him into the marines. Maybe Dragon was part of the marines for a time, before realizing that they were corrupt and leaving. It would be quite interesting.
Sorry to break it down to you buddy, but Garps son Dragon being a former marine isn't a new theory, it's been around for a while now. Hell, even tekking has discussed it a few times. Good for to have thought of it by yourself though.

I think it would would take all three Admirals to take down one Yonkou, it would be a brutal fight but I think they possibly could do it. One on one though? No chance. The Yonkou are not human, just look what Whitebeard did to Akainu whilst half dead. They are quite literally built different. The Admirals are physically normal humans and if you hit them with haki it will hurt them. It took learning a special kind of Haki to even damage Kaido and it took one of the most broken devil fruits to defeat big mom, if the Admirals can't find a way to overcome their insane durability I don't see how they could win individually. The three of them could use their teamwork to figure it out though I think. It would be the coolest fight ever though fr.

I still don't think Luffy is stronger than Kaido yet. It took the scabbards, Luffy + worst generation, Yamato, Luffy again + dying/awakening his devil fruit to take him down.
I don't see where this impression that he is stronger than Kaido came from anyway. True, he did land the finishing blow and Kaido himself would probably attest that Luffy was his most challenging opponent out of the ones he faced in that raid, but it was still a group effort both during the occasions when they were fighting together as well as in the One-on-One battles. Luffy is strong, but he is not Kaido's equal yet. I am sure he would make a challenge for other pirates and marines to beat, I would even wager that it would be unwise for an admiral to take him lightly, but he and his crew still have room to grow.

The Yonko and the admirals are seen as the strongest individuals of their respective sides so there is a great deal of speculation regarding the power parameters in this anime. While Luffy and company defeating Kaido is an impressive achievement, ultimately the time will come when Luffy will have to be strong enough to defeat both one on one. Some people think that time has already come, but I am sure Oda will show that the admirals are individuals to be feared in their own right soon enough.

I think Fujitora is naturally strong himself in terms of haki and swordsmanship and on top of that he has a sword that's eaten the gravity fruit. We never see him using gravity as if he was like Pain or Dante, but we see the gravity on display whenever he unsheeaths his sword but who knows maybe he just likes to use his fruit like Yami. I think Fujitora has a gravity sword and is greatly skilled in natural combat ability like swordsmanship and haki.
No but seriously imagine if Aramaki brought back Luffys head AND fruit. Imagine the promotions he’d get 😂
The Navy being a military requires that every rank pass a paper written exam of some sort along with a physical test. Give Luffy a written exam and he'll fail a hundred times before passing.

It could be seen as Logia if instead of gravity we consider it to be graviton. Then the gravity altering would be a mere effect in same way as fire Logia could set stuff in fire. Tho each time Fujitora uses the ability he would basically disappear in thin air so that would kind of speak against it being Logia. But otherwise it would work. For comparison Pika Pika no Mi makes Kizaru turn into photons and that's a Logia. So turning into graviton surely would be Logia as well and it gives you ability to control gravity.

Enel being the lightning logia fruit is almost like an electricity fruit and electromagnetism is one of the four fundamental interactions of our physical universe (as is gravity) so maybe if Kidd's fruit and Fujitora's fruit are awakened it would be sort of like a special paramecia, logia-like fruit. idk if this is relevant but i thought it was interesting

I still think Kizaru is the strongest and most deadly admiral. He might not be as durable as Akainu but I think he is the one people should fear the most espcially if he's angry or takes things serious. I think he's too laid back to want a leadership position like garp. The admirals are still monsters well the original I'm vouch for the most. I think Luffy will beat Fujitora or Greenbull in a 1 v 1 at the moment but not Kizaru, Akainu, or Kuzan just yet but can push them to a high-extreme diff fight and lose.

People vastly underestimate the difficulty in which protagonists will have to go to combat the Logia power of Admirals.
Kaido and Big Mom are primarily using their own power whereas Logia's will be altering the environment much like Katakuri and Doflamingo which caused problems.
7:13 technically a logia is an element OR force of nature and gravity seems like a force of nature to me. It's kinda like a reverse katakuri where the reason he isn't a logia is because mochi isn't an element or force of nature while gravity is but Fujitora can't turn into gravity.

Considering the levels of haki and Devil Fruit mastery Luffy achieved since Dressrosa it is safe to assume that he is much more confident in taking down a single Admiral by now, possibly on his own even. It also bears mentioning that the time Luffy "fought" Fujitora, he was still recovering from his first truly hard-fought battle post-timeskip, so he would obviously be weakened. That brings us to an important point: Since learning haki, most importantly observation haki, Luffy didn't just fight anyone no matter what, he chose his battles much more logically.
I mean, Haki is good and all, but the admirals probably have a better mastery of the fruits, as well as having strong Haki. I can see Luffy taking down one Admiral, but not easy. Not because they are stronger than Kaido, but their mastery of devil fruits and how they fight. With Kaido, it was a brawl, I don't see that happening with Akainu for example

@@maxteraform I think a 1v1 fight would for sure still be a struggle, not just because of the Admirals powers, but because they have literal decades of experience.
Strength and experience go hand in hand, so even if Luffy alone was stronger than any singular Admiral, said Admiral wouldn't be a pushover just from a strategical point of view. Easy example: What if an Admiral decides to fight in a crowded city, basically taking the people hostage as part of the fight. I can see Akainu and Greenbull both resorting to those dirty tactics.

I don't see Akainu doing that, he may be an extremist, but there isn't any point to actively endanger civilians in order to pursue true justice. Green Bull would do it though.
Even if Liffy was stronger, he hasn't fought seriously against a Logia. I don't see him dominating Akainu if all Sakazuki did was exploding magma around him. Like, it will hurt, as we saw Kaidos magma dragon hurt Luffy. So it should be natural to assume that Akainu, the guy who can bend magma to his will, would have far more deadly magma than Kaido.

@@narfd.8837 I have another scenario to consider. What if an admiral turns his entire fighting location (and this can be anywhere mind you) into a giant magma field. Between the magma itself, the noxious gases in it, and the fact that there will be very little if any solid footing for his opponent would make fighting him very difficult. Control the environment in which you are fighting, and your opponent will be hard pressed to control the fight itself. I am sure that the other admirals could come up with something similar, they didn't get their rank by being unable to adapt to unfavorable situations after all. I would like to see Luffy fight an admiral at full strength just so we are clear, I simply think that he between the admirals abilities, their experience and their usage of the devil fruits they possess they will still be formidable opponents.
The admirals are strong but their portrayal definitely took several hits so the threat doesn't feel as "dangerous" as it should.
Vs Kaidos crew felt like the beast pirates got low differed except zoro and Sanji but even then their fights felt rather short

Aramaki is probably the youngest of all admirals and his words and actions suggest that he also wants to prove that he is not the weakest and that his age is not a disadvantage compared to the others.

Think Akainu is probably the strongest, then Aokiji and then Kizaru, although they are all very close. Then comes Fujitora and Aramaki, although I would put the two closer together than the other three.
Fujitora also has the disadvantage that he is blind and has no Logia.
So think that Luffy or if Sanji and Zoro would fight together against Aramaki they would win. It would be a difficult fight but in the end they would have won. Especially if the three had fought together.
One should not underestimate them. especially zoro and luffy, who ultimately defeated kaido, who I personally would put way above aramaki.

in addition there is probably the factor that whitebeard didn't want to kill anyone but only wanted to save ace. He was kind in comparison and didn't fight with all his might and will to kill his opponents. probably only at the end when ace died but by then he was already at the end of his strength and could only hurt akainu instead of really killing him. Don't know if he wanted that. maybe akainu was just a naughty kid to him and wanted to give him a beating instead of killing him
I am totally on board with the idea of someone with a devil fruit, logia or otherwise, keeping a record of everything they know about their fruit with the intent of making it essentially a strategy guide for future users. The part of the video discussing that reminded me of a "Naruto" fan story I stumbled across where Naruto came across a set of journals the first Hokage wrote to help any later users of the infamous wood style jutsu.

Not only does it show how untouchable he feels with Zoro, Sanji, and Jimbei with him. It also shows that they have all leveled up in the Wano Arc.

I think you’re forgetting that all the yonko we’ve fought have been able to use the highest tiers of haki, specifically conquerers haki, and Kaido said that Haki is what makes you powerful not your DF. Aside from Sengoku, we haven’t seen any of the admirals use conquerors haki, automatically putting them a tier lower than those who can use conquerors coating and conquerors haki to its fullest.
I think you are forgetting the admirals also have advanced haki just not conq haki from what we know. It's very likely sakazuki has it due to his fleet admiral status. The admirals devil fruit abilities are so strong I don't think the lack of conq haki really matters. Just look at blackbeard from what we have seen he's shown literally 0 haki yet many people think hes the strongest currently.
@@danyal6181 I have to correct you on Blackbeard though. We know he has Haki for 2-3 reasons. In his first very appearance he mention that Luffy and Zoro have strong Haki. Then in impel down he mention that Luffy Haki has grown. Lastly he was a veteran pirate For 20 years on Whitebeard ship so strong enough to be a division commander. So I am 100% confident he can use all forms of Haki. Plus we didn’t see a lot of his fights in details.

This is yonko/pirate area. They looked threatening back in paradise because people didn’t know haki then(take Smoker for example) and there were mainly weak people apart from the Whitebeard pirates. But now it’s a whole different situation for those guys. You can’t fly out of a canon and decide you’re gonna beat up everyone lol. The admiral will die. Same goes for everyone actually.
