Quisiera preguntarles, en la variación 1, ¿cómo estudian la combinación dos ligadas y una separada, para que no salga acentuada la nota separada?
      Gracias, buenísimos videos!

Kian and Pablo when explaining: very technical explanation and super in depth.
Santi: I just sort of do this and it kinda works

Hi Pablo, in the unlikely chance you’re reading this, I really enjoy your videos. COVID was awful but one thing we’ve benefited from the lockdown was content like this from you. I know life has gone back to normal, but it would be great if you picked up this project again now and then. Of course I’m sure it was easier to get interviews when everyone is locked down though, but I got to know you and other great cellists. And I picked up my cello again and haven’t put it down since. 😊

They make everything sound so easy I’m surprised they still “struggle” with a difficult variation

    Hola!
Podrías tratar con algún cellista barroco para comparar las diferencias entre estilo, la cuerda de tripa y metálica, diferente técnica con o sin pica... Me parece un tema muy interesante que acogería a más gente. Un saludo, gran vídeo!

Great video as always! If it's possible would it be possible for you guys to talk about the Elgar concerto in the next one? I think it's one of the most beautiful concertos yet very difficult to 'understand' in a certain way, and I would love to hear your thoughts about how to practice it and everything.

I have a technical question: what is the optimal height of the strings above the fingerboard? and is it a big problem if it changes (for example, from the weather)

5-5.5mm for A and 8mm for C (end of fingerboard to string)

Una posible mejora técnica puede ser ecualizar mejor la ganancia de los audios. En este caso el audio de Santiago es menor que los otros. El resto es un gran trabajo!👌

Thank you so much to your series and the very helpful discussions and tips from you and your guests! I was wondering what you thing about cello position (body position, movements etc.) and especially, whether you experience different techniques because of some bodily constraints. In this regard it would be especially interesting to see you talking to female cellists, so far all guests have been male. I experience several of them hold the cello more horizontal than male players, perhaps also depending on bust size? (As a female cellist it makes a huge difference whether to place the cello below, on top, above or between the breasts. ). Not that I think, it makes a huge difference whether to talk to male or female cellists, but females often are smaller, have smaller hands, have different body-to-leg rations etc. Also females have less muscle strength then males. Do not take it as a critic, I really enjoy your series also with "only" males ;-)

I agree! Love watching these guys but I have very small hands and short arms so I struggle reaching octaves and having enough strength reaching the high notes. Would be great to hear some tips to help with that!
