I would say that three days is very short time to visit but if you dont have other option then I understand. Either Puerto Viejo and the Caribbean side or Manuel Antonio are beautiful but for just three days I would advise Puerto Viejo...The whole Caribbean coast there is amazing and in three days you can easily visit many beaches there and find the one you like the most. The only thing you need is to rent a car or just a bike or scooter and you can have an amazing time there.

That is my favorite national park in Costa Rica. There is a sector you can camp and there are hot springs on some of the rivers inside the park
It is very beautiful. I regret we had such a bad weather that day but definitely a place to come back and explore more.
