VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
In this video we visited the Rincon de la Vieja national park in the north of Costa Rica. After a 5km 2 hour hike through the rainforest we found the beautiful waterfall called La Cangreja. This is probably the most beautiful waterfall I have seen so far due to its bright blue color. Later on we checked out some of the volcanic activity on another trail and found some cool mud pits, hot springs and a little volcano. Another national park that you must visit if your near the north of Costa Rica.

There's also a little hot springs off to the left of Catarata Cangreja. It's just big enough for 2 people to lay down in. Very nice to warm up if you happen to fall in to the colder pool below the waterfall. ;)
So many points of interest in this video with the waterfall, the mud pit, the hot spring, the animals. Costa Rica is on my list, even more so now. Thank you.

That park is where the divide between tropical dry forest and rain forest is.
Usually the don't swim is because crazy tourists jump and there are dangerous rocks in the bottom.

Went today for the first time. It’s been raining since the night before. The volume of water in the waterfall was significantly greater than on the video. I’ll need to go back during dry season.

Why don’t they allow swimming? I’m tico and I’m planning to visit. Sucks that it’s not allowed tho.
Is not allowed swimming at those waterfalls for a good reason, is pretty dangerous and you can hurt your self. Please for your own safety keep the safety instructions.
