I have had these for 2 years now and love them. I'm 52 with injuries don't swing very fast but with these I don't need to.
just so you know, the company behind Lazarus is a Chinese metal manufactory that produce clubs for almost all big brands. When I was in China to their factory, TaylorMade, Callaway, Cobra, and more made some of their clubs there, both top of the line and beginners clubs.
Enjoyed the video. The irons are a great deal for someone who doesn’t want to spend a ton of cash and still get decent clubs. Now the 3 wood that’s a great deal too but you can’t compare it to a premium model like the Titleist because even their stock option shaft is 100 times better than the shaft in the Lazrus. That could explain the difference in distance. But 256 with a 3 wood is nothing to turn your nose up at. This was a great review and keep up the great work.
I have the irons hybrids wedges woods and putter love em
I have a set of the Irons and a 3 wood and 5 wood. LOVE them!
They really are amazing! So glad you love them as much as we do.
Thinking about these. 58 years old
These are a great option!
I am 59 years old and have #3 hybrid, 4-pw, 60, 56, 52 wedges, and a putter. I absolutely love them. The irons hit far so does the hybrid; very comfortable. I really like the wedges; they are responsive. The putter is solid and forgiven with a good feel. You can't beat the price. I am going to get the 2 hybrids instead of the 3 wood.
New subscriber. Enjoyed the video 👍
Something is definitely wrong with his 9 iron if he has PGA type distance with his 6 iron and 3 wood.
I doubt he hits as far as Rory with Lazrus irons…
I’m sure these are decent irons for the price and target client. I assume the insane iron distances are the pressed lofts on most game improvement clubs. Only gripe is the colours and badges are ugly and too much IMO. Less is more and would give it a more premium look.
Appreciate the info!
You bet!
Hmm. I haven't played golf that long. I was given advice from a friend to use a regular shaft because I am 60 years old. I have noticed that when I really swing harder, it does slice to the right most of the time. I started swinging a little slower, and that seemed to help. I am poor, on a fixed income, so I I can't really afford to get fitted. I am using a 2010 Callaway Diablo Edge full irons, hybrids, woods, and driver. I normally shoot between 82-90 or so. 2 times I broke 80 when I was really hot with the putter(76 and 79). I am just thinking out loud, but do you think I should consider trying a stiff shaft on a club to see if that helps? Sorry for rambling, but a light bulb went off in my head when you said with a regular shaft and swinging harder, it tends to curve right. Thanks for reading. If you have gotten this far. 😂
At your age I would stick with a regular shaft but it would not hurt to try! If you know someone with a stiff you can try theirs out first. Thanks for the comment
A more flexible shaft should typically result in a hook, not a slice. This isn't always the case but is generally the outcome more often than not. I don't think your shaft has anything to do with your slice. Slowing down the swing with irons and finding more tempo and rhythm is always a good thing.
@@bradsmith3341I would disagree. I have found plenty of ways to slice and/or hook. Swinging harder can result in so many breaks in form that could cause either. Thank God I have my clubs to blame. :)
I have been looking at these on Amazon. My question is, are these considered game assist irons. Are the club face dimensions about the same size as other game assist irons? Thx Jim from Georgia
Yes! These are designed as game improvement irons. The heads are a little heavier than other irons that we have tested.
Have you hit the Lazrus 7 wood?
Unfortunately not
Your friend is coming over the top and too steep.
Why so cheap? Made in CHINA.
Yeah....hard pass on that for me!
They are made in the same factory in china as the top brands.
Which changes nothing. Still made in CHINA.
If it's PRC it's not for me.
@@scottmaxim8045what clubs you got?
You know alot of Top brands are made in china right?
Don't make it right, Sir. Do some homework and buy gear that is either NOT made in China at all or minimize the amount of that Chicom crap you buy. @@MrSupermugen
Today almost all brands has 2 degrees spann of tolerance in manufacturing.
