How to Fold a Hockey Jersey

In this video I'll show a good method for folding an ice hockey jersey so as not to bend or damage the team logo or other cresting. With this folding method you'll be able to safely ship your jersey or travel with it and not worry about bends.

Another useful tip: when washing a jersey, put the jersey inside out so the logo edges won't get frayed and chewed up by any hard edges inside washing machine (hoodie zippers, etc.)

I read somewhere on the internet about the same issue, but don't have the url available.
Going off memory, you put your jersey on a large flat surface, put something (I *think* paper of some sort, but something that won't bleed through), another cloth on top of that, and use the steam from an iron on the top piece of material. I don't recall how long or what setting. You might want to try on a cheap jersey you don't care about and see if it works.
Perhaps speak with a dry cleaner. If autographed, there is a good chance the autograph will go bye-bye, as a friend had this happen to a game-worn jersey.
If you are not a stickler for keeping original, you might be able to have the numbers removed and new ones resewn in place. No guarantee of an exact match, though.

Sweater is a Canada only term. The rest of the world says jersey.
