I had 2, which were Hota, and I forget the 2nd "rebrand." One had a built in psu and the other uses an external psu. I loved them, but they both burnt up. I had them for about a year before the first burnt. So I stole the psu from it and powered the external psu one until it died. I still have and use the internal psu. Hopefully, this rebrand will last a little longer because they are nice!
Nice charge box...i need to upgrade mine to have soundz or somthing like that as ive just got a 6s 18p 18650 pack that i made and printed a box for..has like 50ah give or take..but i so need soundz when out flying.. i have a lead that has 3 xt60s on the end so i and mates can all plug in and charge....love yours tho.

i have the hota h6 pro. very similar and i like it a lot. lacks internal resistance readout. everything else i would ever want is there.

Hey hey, I got this charger on your recco and I love it BUT It's reading one of my batteries as HV and charging it as such... but the battery isnt HV and it doesnt let me charge it non-HV. Any ideas about this?
Hi Drainman I bought the Hota D6 another feature I liked, with a charge cord made with female xt60 at both ends a channel will output power to a drone to run or check motors. Gives your an adjustable DC output power supply for bench checking. Your not discharging a battery you could fly with on bataflight.

@@libertybicycles1629 select a channel and short press the wheel to select task. At the top you can select “power supply” instead of “charge” that it’s usually on. After you select that you can change the output voltage amps. Up to you if you need full 6s or 4s voltage, just needs to be highly enough to power the esc/fc because you are going to make a cable that plugs into the charger and the other end plugs into your quads xt60/30. Now you can test everything as if a batter was plugged in but you aren’t draining a battery. If you do this with props on BE EXTRA CAREFUL. I do this on the bench, props off, and then you can spin motors and check all settings that you’d need a batt connected to look at.
