I loved the look on Chris’s face when he realized they were fake fish. He almost looked disappointed. Like he was ready to bash some people but no bashing was necessary. Poor Chris.

I saw a video once on how these videos are made and it's super crazy. Imagine a giant room with a ton of sections, each (small) section has a table (if needed) and a camera setup and a person making these videos. They don't actually make anything, these people show supplies then a premade final product (sometimes one that was just bought for the video). One of these employees asked if anyone tested this quick tip they were filming and everyone chuckled, shaking their heads. In many videos you can catch how things are totally faked. Showing these things were never even made. Cooking ones are really bad. Almost always purchased food for the end result and fake process clips. They're encouraged to take minimal time to make each video before moving quickly into the next one. It's almost a case of 5 minute craft videos made in 5 minutes. It's an assembly line at this company.
They've replied to allegations saying "every tip has been tested but the video is just staged to show the steps, not necessarily the actual process.
They also get paid to use products in their videos so sometimes Kraft will say "make x number of videos that showcase our items" in which they will make videos, working or not, that show them using Kraft items as many times as possible. So they make money from UA-cam and commercials and sponsors.
They make billions... Off crap. These people are second only to the fake animal rescue channels with the same setup, just replacing their thumbnails with animals in dangerous situations, often the same animal used in multiple "rescue" videos did across their many channels.
I feel like these content creators should be banned.

There’s actually a marketing trick behind having the thumbnail not feature in the video. It has to do with how satisfied a viewer feels.
It works a bit like this: you click on a video because you’re interested in the thumbnail -> The thumbnail isn’t in the video -> you’ll feel unsatisfied -> you want to be satisfied-> you click on another video to get satisfaction of knowing what the thumbnail was about -> cycle repeats
Ann Reardon (sorry if I spelled that wrong) from How to Cook That goes into a lot of detail about it and explains it really well. I recommend checking her out if you want to know more.

Learning how to properly care for fish, through channels like yours and the others you mentioned, is what made me fall in love with fish keeping. I have a comet goldfish that we but in our 2000 gallon pond with our Koi and now he’s nearly a foot long... He celebrated his 10 years in October! He is beautiful. (´∀｀) I was ten when we got him, and we hope he lives another 10. ❤️

What happened to my Corydora
I have a 5 gallon fish tank with Neon Tetras, Corydoras and shrimp. I know that is too small so I have been setting up a new 15 gallon aquarium. Today my 15 gallon has been cycling for a fortnight and I tested the water parameters and everything was ideal so I decided to move my fish in.
When I put the corydora in question in my new fish tank he just lay on his side. I thought he was dead (even though he was moving around a few seconds later) so I took my fish net and tried to scoop him out but he swam a bit. I moved him to my old 5 gallon (fully planted and perfect water parameters) which I am using as a hospital/quarantine tank now.
In his old tank now he is swimming a bit but for only a few seconds at a time and a bit shakily.
Is my corydora sick? What do I do now????
Other people: Our fish tanks are so cute!!

The only fish which can go in these homemade tanks are robo fish.

On the video with the pipe fish table they just used toxic spray paint on the pipes too btw. So if the fish don't die from lack of oxygen, jumping out of the pipes or getting stuck because it's so small first, the toxic paint will definitely kill them.

I was so hoping you would do a review of this!! The tanks aren't good at all but looks appealing to little kids that think they can make their own fish tank.
Actually disliking a video means that UA-cam's algorithm is less likely to show that video to people with similar taste in videos to you, disliking does NOT help a video by giving interaction, that is a myth.

Just imagine they did something similiar to another animal. Imagine they put a dog in a small crate, without proper food and water. People would freak out and they would be right to do so!

We were selling these insanely tiny (like .1 gal) disney themed fish tanks at the pet store I work at and I had the idea to take the cartoon stuff off them turn them into tiny terrariums for millipedes and dwarf scorpions and other insects :)
I have a small baby goldfish in a 5-gallon tank. it is 1 inch in size, can I keep it in there until it grows a bit bigger and then transfers it to my 35 gallon tank? or is that not good for it still?

UA-cam pushes these content farm videos. My autoplay used to always bring up 5 minute "aquarium" videos when I just started using UA-cam. It only stopped after the algorithm learned that I wasn't interested.
These content farms like to take advantage of the autoplay when you're scrolling through. They are both eye candy and have that wtf element that makes you hover just a moment too long, then it's on your watched history and suggests their sister channels. That and people trying to look interesting on Facebook. Glad most of the fish were plastic.

The reason these channels do so well is because it's a meme to hate them, it's a meme to watch their ridiculously stupid content. So many big youtubers have made videos about 5 minute crafts but not ONE and I mean not ONE has said "Please do not go to this channel and watch ANY of their videos, we do not want to show them support of any kind"
