This is like when you got the chill substitute teacher as a kid that let you watch movies and eat all the glue you wanted. Good times.
That is the perfect way to describe this video's vibe
Perfect description
I guess that's all I could ever really ask to be 😅
Thanks so much to the Blade Bias crew for letting me host another episode! And thanks to the Brandon clones who tore off my limbs and fed me to the goats 6 seconds after this video ended! 🤘
Our pleasure! Hope those limbs grow back soon!
Great video "Brandon"
bro BRANDON HAS TAKEN OVER!!!!
Been loving my edit lite, the Chaplin grip with the engravings are supreme
How much was shipping?
Personally I don’t see live balisongs as toys, Plastic Balis and metal trainers sure, pretty toyish. I use my balisongs everyday for all sorts of things, anytime I need a knife to cut something it’s what I use. From food prep to utility work. Flip them when I’m sitting around the house but for the most part it’s a pocket knife.
Someone start a Gofundme to get Brandon a new GoPro lmao
Call it Brandon Bias

Something comfy about it
This whole time Brandon was both Ethan and Ty.
Surprised it took you guys this long to notice
Finally a Brandon vlog 😭
On the note of plastic balis, I can't stand em cause of how light they are, the idea of a heavier one with metal in it could be nice but I'm still skeptical, hopefully a friend will pick one up so I can try it
Give em a chance!
Love you brandon you’re the best. I stopped watching ehan for a while he seems a little arrogant
I love this surprise feature! However, I did want to express my disagreement with your comment though about the toy status of balisong. I think it’s a little disrespectful to pigeon hole the concept of balisong into simply a toy because there is real history and culture behind the use of balisong as a weapon and a tool. Even though this is not how many of us flippers utilize it today. As a Filipino American, I have the opportunity to feel more connected to my heritage and the Filipino roots of balisong when I flip. There are even implementations of balisong into forms of FMA (Filipino martial arts). In my opinion such a statement neglects the deep history and influence that the Filipino people have had on balisong. I think it is becoming more common to present balisong in this light because it becomes more marketable and helps to break negative stereotypes abt the knife, but as a community I feel that we should be breaking those stereotypes in a way that still pays homage to the roots of balisong. “Wasted again” has a video titled the soul of balisong, and I think it’s a great watch and gives more insight into the topic than this comment can. My opinion could be horribly wrong as well, so I just wanted to clarify that this comment is my own and not affiliated with wasted again. This is just my opinion so lmk what y’all think
This is very fair! I hadn't considered that angle before. I was mostly referencing the ways that balisongs are utilized in the West, and pretty much anywhere outside of the Philippines, which is almost exclusively for recreational purposes. But the history of balisongs within Filipino culture is absolutely valid, and I'll keep that in mind when talking about it in the future!
@@thebrandonbakerclone omg that’s cool af that you responded thanks for reading my comment😁!Always love seeing u around the community Brandon keep up the great work!
Nice to see ya Brandon, and the more I see the edit, the more I am thinking of getting one. My Squiddy-G is showing a little crack on it now. I'll need to see what are the options for the edit, never actually checked that.
Go check it out!
OMG ITS BRANDON!
Brandon is the best substitute to an sd card
💕
Bro became blade bias real quick. Btw how do you do the head mount thing?
Maybe it's because of where i live, and i assume its worse in bigger cities, but do people really get all wierd/bothered by people flipping balisongs? I mean as long as youre not walking through the mall or in the line at chicfila who cares? Im asking genuinely and also if you have an experience plz share
If it's a live blade balisong it can draw some unwanted attention for sure, especially in public spaces. Trainers are less likely, but the ones that are meant to LOOK like live blades can still make people uneasy. I just enjoy the peace of mind knowing what I'm flipping couldn't even come close to looking like a knife
Did awesome man, the force appears to affect the vibe of this video
CASE LOGO IS UPSIDE DOWN YOU TRAITOR
Not when you're carrying it it's not! That's why the sticker is facing that way! ;)
@@thebrandonbakerclone okay you're excused for this time
is this a good first balisong ever?

should i get the edit or the edit lite? are the differences major? can someone help pls, ty
I have an Edit headed to me in the mail right now, should be here next week, I'm excited to see how it flips!
Hope you like it!
How do you like it? Do you have it :)?
@Helpxio_ it's surprisingly good! Well balanced, and smooth action. I keep it in my car, and flip whenever I'm stopped at a long light, or in a drive-through. Only real complaints are that the handles are a bit chunky (but no more so than a BBFirefly), and a little more bouncy than a metal balisong; both things that just require time to adjust to.
@@JonCL1981 ahh so it isn't just a big scam XD well I'm now looking forward to buy one then
@Helpxio_ not at all, I use mine regularly! I've dropped it on concrete several times, it's a little scuffed up, but still works great; the plastic is semi-pliable, so it doesn't crack, or shatter.
Very well balanced, too
When I first got my calico, my gf picked it up and started playing with it. I asked her how much she thought it cost, and she said “$15? $20?” Honestly, as much as I like it, she’s right that that’s how much it should cost…
I highly recommend watching the videos that Tay has made about the process that he goes through to make a single Calico, saying it's not worth more than 20 dollars is a huge underestimation of the amount of work that goes into plastic balisongs, and this includes all other 3d printed and plastic balisong makers.
Tldr: there's a reason that only Chinese balisongs cost less than 50 bucks
@@BladeBias I second this, Calico's take a ton of freaking work
@@BladeBias lol I don’t think you understood what I meant. I’m fully aware of why it costs so much: it’s because it’s hand made. But there’s absolutely nothing about it that can’t be mass produced. So what I mean is, we should be at the point where these things are so common you can buy them on Amazon for $20
@@BladeBias I’d say the same thing about most squid products btw
@@alecgross12 mass production or quality
even if the vulp exists
Love plastic balis. I really need an angler, an edit, and an orca to complete the collection. Maybe an og tay flipper too
I've been enjoying my squiddy-a recently. The feel and balance are very different than the standard squiddy. the balance is neutral and the ultem feels and looks awesome. Also seems super durable. The sound is great but not as good as the calico..
I own:
Squiddy-a
Zippy cycloid
Zippy diode
Zippy zipper v2
Ndk arts hive
Tayflipper calico
That's a dope plastic balisong collection!
I’m debating between this and the squiddy-a lol, do share your thoughts once you get it! I’m really digging that ultem but idk if it’s worth it for the flipping performance
