I use to work at Walmart, and I can tell you there are so many employees. Each employee has a designated department (Except for a few that kinda just help everywhere) and you don't really communicate with other department employees. You do occasionally make friends with 1 or 2 employees from other departments but, for the most part you only know the people in your department.

I agree with MrSan. My time at Walmart was a cap associate. Cap- Customer availability process, and we focused on numbers and pure stocking. Only reason I met most of the story when I worked at Walmart was because of being on that certain team, as we stocked most of the store. My job was rare compared to most normal associates focusing on one specific area.
