I can get past the cooldown because it does give you 8 seconds and with that you could stay in more or you could use it to escape. I just feel like people need to get used to the one hit fatal damage to get that full 8 seconds. That 8 seconds feels so good tho, super happy about that. I feel like it would have been better if they would have kept the passive of your 2 skill resetting the bar of your demonic slash of early game, but again you can use malific roar or gun of a total of 70% penetration and that includes the passive. Overall a good buff.

I have 3k games on argus, and I hate this new argus. Only thing i like in him is his skill 2 that gives us instant passive, and ult. But this 1 minute coulddown, not regen from non-heroes(udeless against sun, zhask and many more) worse lane cleaning ans many more, thats sick.
His ult got significant buff in my opinion he can now gain 50 malice energy instantly and on top of that he gains 50 malice energy per crit during his ult phase and it lasts 8 secs if he only takes fatal damage otherwise its cd is low as usual its better for team fights i think crit build is way to go for argus he gains bonus energy from crits, only down side is that his skill 2 now doesnt activate his passive on minions and on turrets as well they even nerfed his skill 2 movement speed buff which they shouldn't have tbh.

Now ultimate argus has two conditions... 1. If you open the ultimate and your HP is still full, it will reduce the ultimate cooldown by 50% afterward. 2. If you use ultimate and your HP is low during ultimate you can survive up to 8 seconds. but do not get ultimate cooldown reduction afterward.

The buff is kinda bad because he cannot gain his passive attack from hitting turrets anymore, making destroying turrets slower and gives time for the enemy to see you pushing
Elite is way more good effect than the basic because he's basic skin doesnt change the effect not like the elite skin that Will change the effect from green to red ,but i prefer you if you have some rare fragment or blue fragment try to get he's starlight skin or season skin of argus.
I thought argus is so badly nerfed. But I figured out how to play new argus... so the ulti become not only survival but the passive boost. Use ulti when u have full passive. Criticals strikes grants you instant continueous passive strikes. But if you can't full passive before ulti, it become worse(Skill 2 can help this). The moonton said argus is too depends on basic attack so they forced argus to use ulti not only for survival, but as a damage buff because if you didn't triggered immortality during ulti, it reduce the CD. But CD should be reduced too like natan. Argus ulti can now only restore hp to hero hits only. No healing from troops and minions anymore. This make a huge nerfed for argus but the ulti duration meant to balance it. But instead, it change the play style of argus a lot. Now you should only build Crit items. New argus can get more advantages by ambushing enemies. They don't revamped but just changed the playstyle of argus. This impact to both argus players and the counter heros of argus. Argus can now spawn kill easily with right usage of ulti. Argus get a little benefit in early and huge damage in late game. In mid game, argus is supressed.
Moonton never fails to disappoint when it comes to making balance changes that nobody asked for. I am a global argus and only play him. The changes made to skill 2 has completely ruined argus early to mid game(removed double malice energy). They also removed getting HP from Minions and creeps while ulting, removed gaining malice energy from attacking turrets (cannot push turrets effectively anymore) This is an overall huge nerf, I don't know why moonton says it's a buff. Not to mention the Ult CD goes from 36 seconds to 60 seconds (HUGE nerf). This turns argus into a horrible slowpaced character that barely does anything the whole game. Pre-nerf argus used to get 2X malice energy when using skill 2, which helped a lot in team fights, allowing him to get many more critical hits. On the other hand, The skill 2 giving argus 200 malice energy is completely useless in teamfights, and is basically one-time use.
