@@FarmerBrianGaming1 hey thanks, me too. I find it a bit less stressful when I’m not trying to cut the video down further just to get under an hour or whatever. The process is more enjoyable and from the comments I’ve been getting, people seem to like the videos…
Minor tip: the "Farm Fill Stations" mod also includes means of selling (the ones that are not Silos), those all have very _nice_ sell points also - which means if you place down the "bulk" one, you'll be not only be able to buy bulk products at a discount, but also be able to sell all the bulk products, at a bit of a bonus. Same with the Industrial Sawmill - that has a "sellpoint" option (in the sellpoints menu) that is _very_ cheap to place down, but gives a huge bonus when selling logs and other wood-related materials.
I think one of the updates I like most to FS25 that I haven't seen many folks mention are some of the smaller sounds. It's especially noticeable on that first log trailer you got, but the sound of tires on gravel is a very distinct sound and it really shines while you're driving around.
@@ThornedLily I agree, I love that gravel sound. I think overall the game is a step beyond FS22 visually and if we get a few bugs ironed out things will be awesome.
@@s1vtre oh ha ha…those were users? I thought they were something else but I guess giants wouldn’t equip their goats with giant balls, lol. Makes sense. 🤔🚜
what I have learned in FS25 is that the meadow grass isn't very good for sheep and goats, what I have done is plowed the area I want my enclosure to be then plant grass. This way I can easily see where I need to place the fences when putting in the enclosures and the grass is constantly regrowing and giving a bigger yield than meadow. Just remember to say no when it asks if you want meadow when you complete the sheep/goat enclosure
@@psa101 oh yeah that’s a good idea…you probably also don’t get the message that says you can’t place the fence even though there’s nothing visually stopping you….
Nice one! 🙂👍Don't know why Giants didn't put billy-goats, rams or bulls in the game - very odd. I guess we have to wait for modders to add them. Or they could have us pay a vet bill to get them served. Yep, you definitely bought nanny-goats 😊
The "restricted" spot when attempting to place the fence COULD have been a stump that was cut so low it was under the ground. May want to turn on your debug and see if you see any stumps that you missed. Maybe take note of your money and turn off autosave or just make a copy of the save slot prior to any manipulation. Then between episodes flip it on and see if you need to terraform the ground to remove any stumps and then relevel it after. Just a thought
@@xBrodeurguyx yeah I’ll often run a test on an alternate save before I do anything drastic, but sometimes I forget. And you know what, there’s probably the odd tree in the map because when I was cutting the wood up, every once in a while, a piece would just go missing.
Only recently found your channel after being recommended by UA-cam. Great videos. From what I have seen so far you appear to try and keep close concept of realism and that makes me think you chose a bad place for your free water tanks as they have a solar panel on them for power and you've placed it under the side of the shed so it's completely under cover and out of direct sunlight
@@MagFireUK hey cool, glad you found me! 😀 And good call on the water tanks…I didn’t even notice that they had solar panels on them, thanks! @northernfarmsim @northernfarmsim no problem, I mostly play with realism in mind too. Also you seem experienced on Farm Sim so you probably already know but just in case you don't, you can put sheep and goats in the same pen at the same time so on a spacious map like this it's usually worth putting the money into a large enclosure and having a mix of sheep and goats so they produce wool and milk at the same time. Both can be very profitable.
