Great work my friend. In regards to the (3) farms, it doesn't say in the "details" of the challenge that each farm has to have their own equipment. So, yes; equipment can be shared. There are only (2) requirements per farm. Each farm must have their own business focus. In that regard, if a dairy farm; only that farm can supply the dairy production. Relating to last episode you said people gave you grief for which tools you used for what. I wouldn't worry. Doesn't matter what forks or claw is used as long as it gets the job done.
@@EricTheGr81 yeah it was all good, mostly we were just having fun. I managed to sell hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of wood all with pallet forks and never really considered using anything else and I think people thought that was funny. You’re right, just use whatever works 👍
I know this is pre-recorded, but I've got two mods that may help you with the Tree / Woodchip problem. Industrial Sawmill has both a production and direct-selling options that will take in those huge awkward trees without losing value - with the production you can even use that wood for planks / beams / long planks, or deliver it somewhere else. I'm also releasing my Farm Fill Stations which have a "bulk fill station silo" that will allow you to store up to 100k liters of just about any bulk product. I may add in a woodchip option at some point or a unique production to do chipping.
@@gmngjoy oh yeah….? I like chipping the big trees only because it looks like it still triples the volume you get from the tree and the max price for wood is $1000/1000L while the max price for chips is like $540/1000L so you get about 50% more. BUT….if you had a production where I could take the tree and decide to either sell it or produce something (is that what it is?) then I’d be all over it. Just recorded ep 6 and I’ve had a few more horrific battles with those trees! I was surprised I didn’t have a reasonably priced option to store chips…but obviously still early in the game I guess. not 100% sure but i belive you can feed that chipper with large timber from the loader as in frontend loader with grab rather than hand feeding it may be a little faster for you. ah, good old woodchips struggle :) Giants made AI too perfect this year. literally everyone is running cultivating/harvesting/moving contracts in the background. I think they need to revisit the cost of AI labor, middleman should not make $10k when the actual worker made $800
@@s1vtre yeah you’re probably right… Although maybe in comparison to what it would be like in real life it’s not far off? @@northernfarmsim well, then the contract should not bring 10k for that kind of work. getting a few hundreds for the trouble arranging the work for someone else sounds more realistic. not to mention that you lease the items for the contract basically for free. hence why some players chose to do the contracts with only the items they own I understand, not everyone would like to play with restrictions like that, but these parameters can easily be controlled by the difficulty settings. you wanna get rich by completing just 2 contracts, no problem! you wanna more realistic experience, we have a setting for you too!
