lol you must have been tired as I heard you say the F-word a couple of time, which I found real and funny. Please dont edit out the tedious parts as some people do need to know how it is done. As you said others can just speed along in the vid, no need to cheat those who are learning. You are an excellent teacher, really. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks...
@@UltimateDIY I've some ques if You can reply.. I've already 4 GB DDR3 RAM in my Dell Vostro 3750. Q1) Can I increase to 8 GB? Or my model only supports 4 GB. How can I know this? Q2) What should I know before purchasing a new RAM? Q3) Can I upgrade with 4 GB DDR4 instead of DDR3 now or I've to put the exactly same? It will be very kind of You if You can answer the above questions..
You need to buy ddr3 only. You can put 8gb in it for sure, some even have 16gb. Use this website to see some compatible ram types that people already tested: www.dell.com/community/Laptops-General-Read-Only/Vostro-3750-Memory-8GB-Limit/td-p/3790140
Very informative video thanks. Great to see you have upgraded your work bench. Was there a product you used to clean the surface of the laptop? Also any hints on cleaning the laptop's screen?. Thanks again and will be watching out for more of your videos.
Thank you for watching my video! For cleaning the laptops I use multisurface wet wipes. Those are the ones that you can use for furniture, but also for your tv, for example (plastics), and I use them even on the displays, but I need to continue to wipe it until the wet wipe gets dry, so it does not leave marks. For more stubborn areas I use a little alcohool on the wet wipe.
Hi, Thank you for the video, very helpful. Please could you provide product details of the SSD and RAM card? ideally could you link products in the reply? Or alternatively the specification I should purchase? My current hard drive is a 320GB Serial ATA (7,200rpm). A 500GB SSD is all i need for the upgrade. RAM - I would like to upgrade from 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Dual Channel to 8GB. Furthermore, appreciate that you have a windows 10 install video in the description. However, do I install windows 10 prior to SSD replacement? Look forward to hearing from you!
I have at times made it unbootable because of the legacy boot options vs. the windows boot options (I dual boot on two drives Win 10 and Ubuntu or other versions of Linux.) Some of the choices seem tricky. I wish I could explain better, but I understand nothing about the BIOS settings ... I like to set boot from USB as my first choice and that is it. Sorry.
I would set the BIOS to legacy mode (disable UEFI and secure boot) and then use F12 insted of entering the BIOS to choose between the 2 drives at boot. Maybe set the one that you use more as default, so you only use F12 when you need the other one.

The DVD install was too funny, you should be a tech-comic.
:))

Hi. Sorry, but I don't remember the details of this laptop.
You install Windows on the SSD after you mount it inside the laptop.
Can you pls tell me what brand of ram did you buy. Thx
Sorry, but I don't remember. Either way, brand should not matter.
@@UltimateDIY could you put a link for one?
ps... I really could use some help with the BIOS on my Leonovo T430, or anything like it really. If you could please, I hate to ask.
What exactly? Hope I can help.
