Ontario aiming to speed up home connections to electricity grid- October 21, 2024

Ontario Energy Minister Stephen Lecce announces his government will introduce legislation making it easier for new homes and businesses to connect to the province’s electricity grid.
He is joined at the news conference in Toronto by Sam Oosterhoff, the associate minister of energy intensive industries, Paul Calandra, the minister of municipal affairs and housing, and Scott Andison, CEO of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association.
