I grew up listening to these guys to late 70s - 90 when I left. They are still going strong like it never changed. Keep up the Memphis feel guys! I listen when ever I roll through.
Listened to this as a teen growing up in Eastern Arkansas 1993-99. I really loved the Saturday Night Fever 70s disco show they did every Saturday night for 3 hours.
Wierd how their progressive album format slowly morphed into top 40, then disco, then other forms of popular music yet people act like it's a legendary non stop rock station. They were a early one but hardly a legend of rock n roll radio. They bailed for the quick bucks constantly ziging & zagging over the years. I'll take KINK Portland, WXRT Chicago, and a very few others for longevity & heritage. They just hung on to the same handle/ branding ("FM 100") for decades. Not a terrible station but they are what they are.
riding off into the sunset at noon Monday June 12th, 2023. Woke up early this morning to listen to the acoustic sunrise radio program. Been a listener since 1981-(42 years at 1 point FM 100 was coming out of the speakers at the pool or in the garage when I was a young boy)-Switched to FM 100 after Z103 changed to Rock 103. Tried to listen to Z98.
